Updating my original review. First I want to say I have an 8 cam set up ANNKE system with DVR that was professionally installed/hardwired back in I think 2017. So, being it’s 2023 I had a few start going out. That happens after constantly being exposed to weather. So I decided to replace them with some updated versions . This one specifically, it didn’t work for me. I was refunded and tried again with another one similar to my original with night vision of course. So back up the ladder I go, install was quick . Waited for night ( the test) Petfect clear images. So point is know which cameras work for your system. I’m not sure if this one was just incompatible but it seemed correct, however it wasn’t. But the daylight quality of the images was perfect. Annke went out if their way to make it right and I wasnt expecting anything . So make sure you reach out to them if you run into issues on set up. They were very polite and a pleasure to talk to. I still recommend their system . The price is fair and quality of images is clear Make sure your DVR and systems requirements are matching your cameras ... show more

Where do I start the horrible night vision that doesn't even kick in half the time it's just a blurry color picture with no night vision or the color that's completely off blue turns to green red turns to Orange green turns to lime green it's horrible and when you tilt or pan it the picture goes completely distorted they're just the worst cameras I've ever seen anky produce I do not recommend these and here I am stuck with four of them for $155 terrible mistake never do it again they need to stop producing these cameras they are junk ... show more

I already have an ANNKE 8 channel system I have been happy with for a couple years and decide to sawp a PTZ camera in one outside and hard to reach location. After testing it to make sure it worked and seemed okay, I installed the camera today(way out of reach and permanent) and all seemed great other than the PTZ not working on the Guarding Vision computer app(it works on the phone app and I am in contact with ANNKE support to try and figure out why). Then it got dark, and either the IR on the camera doesn't work at all or is so low it is useless. The difference between this and cameras that the IR works is huge. When aimed in dark areas I can't see anything. When aimed a direction it can get ambient light from the sky(partial moon clear night) I can sorta see a little. I suspect this camera would be fine for a lighted area or one with another IR source, unless I have a defective camera, but since now it's already installed it is what it is. I will update this review if things change and ANNKE can get the PTZ working on my computer because that is important to me. If all you want to use this for is on your phone app and it's in a lighted area this might be okay, but otherwise at this point I would not recommend. ... show more

I bought this to start replacing the other cameras on my Annke DT81GB. The camera works fine, but the PTZ does not function at all, although the app and DVR controls/settings show the PTZ controls. Contacted Annke for support to see if there was a setting that needed to be changed. Firmware is up to date. ... show more
