I received the chair yesterday and am loving it! It is very comfortable, I am 5’ 4” and it’s a perfect size for me. The color is very nice and it looks good in my living room. I gave a 5 star rating. I am very happy with the chair! Oh, and it came a lot sooner than I thought it would!!! Yay! As for the delivery I was most unhappy with FedEx . This is a large senior living complex and they always bring the items delivered right into the building and to the apartment door. Instead the delivery person left it outside and not even at the main entrance. I guess it was a new person but it was hard to get it in and up to my apartment. Fortunately the chair was in excellent condition, though I don’t know how since the box was very beat up!! ... show more

Packaged efficiently and easy to assemble. The chair came in two parts that slide right in place. Color of chair is neutral which is good as it matches easily with any decor. I found the arms of the chair to be low and uncomfortable to relax the arms while in chair unless reclined. This chair is most suitable for individuals under 5'6. I am 5'7 and found the length of leg rest to be too short, as my legs hung over. Overall the chair is a good buy except for the points mentioned. This might be a recliner thats built like a tank, but it has a good amount of cushion you be really comfy and because its light its easy to move it around if you need to but not so light that if you recline it itll move. ive had another recliner that weight 3 tiems as much and moved when reclining, its a big pain that luckily this doesnt have, so i dont have to scratch my floors :D P.S i have to give this below a 3 now, because this metal is light and makes this a dream to move when i need to move it, a big chunk of metal literally snapped. i used it alot so i cant blame it sort of, but it has barely been a year sense i bought it. and for the price it really should be a more quality metal and or at least thicker so something like this doesnt happen. they really shoulda done some form of stress test on these. P.S.S They covered it under warranty, they sent a new chair without having to send back this one. so if your worried they dont respect the warranty they 100% do. ill keep my review as a 3 star cuz thats of the chair quality and feel, respecting the warranty is just what every company should do, but its nice to know they stand behind the product if it breaks. ... show more

My new recliner came quickly and assembly was as EASY as the video showed!! I was so impressed!!! Day 3 and I just love it!! The price was fantastic too!! I practically lived in my past recliners, but my last one only lasted three years and was considerably more expensive. I’ve been without one for the last 9 months, having only a plushy, upright chair that just started falling apart. I’m just so pleased with my new recliner!! I bought the extended warranty. I’m hoping this chair lasts. Like the other reviews, one does need to apply some oomph to close the footrest. The mechanism that pops the footrest out is new to me as I’m used to the wooden handle/lever. The material is soft and I like that the arm rests are low so that there’s more room. I don’t like feeling boxed in by higher arm rests. I am very pleased with my new recliner!! ... show more

For the price, this is a good value recliner. It has almost all of the key features that I wanted, including the ability to use the footrest, without going back into the reclining position. This was very important to me, as I like to meditate sitting fully up in the recliner, with my feet extended. I can actually even sleep this way, because my head and neck stay relatively stationary. The other thing that I really like, is the the foot rest is comfortable without hot spots, and extends fully out, without gaps. Cushion (seating) comfort, is satisfactory, although it is perhaps not as soft as I would prefer. Still, it's not that bad. The hand rests are very large, which I like, and also very comfortable. I also love the manual handle. I have no need for automated recliners, which are not only heavier and more expensive, but also have more working parts that can break. I can think of only two cons with this recliner. One is minor - pushing the foot rest back in, is a little cumbersome, but not really all that bad. The major con, is that this would not make an ideal recliner sleeper, for those interested in that possibility, unless you are particularly short. The back does not go up high enough for proper head rest. I am around 5 feet 11 inches tall. ... show more

I bought this chair 2 years ago. It was easy to assemble, and comfortable out of the box. The problem is, it is now very uncomfortable. Apparently the seat cushion has some kind of flexible plastic under the fabric. That material is now wrinkled and hurts my butt to sit on. I have to put another cushion on, just to sit on it. I knew that I was buying a budget, no frills chair. I don't have a thousand dollars to spend on a good one. But didn't even get two years. ... show more
