Totally worth every penny if you can swing it. It feels a bit small and keystrokes could be hard for someone with bigger hands but I adapted to its size the mount doesn’t adjust as much as I had hoped but it I can type in bed and on my desk so it works my favorite part is not needing a Bluetooth connection and the cantilever mount. It types great like any other Apple keyboard. It makes the iPad a bit heavy but not unbearable since I use it more as a dock and not a case. Love it. Replaced an older model iPad for this newer one and the case with the keyboard I love it. It works great and I’ve had no problems and I got a better price at Amazon than at another place. I checked. I really want the pencil, but that’ll be another purchase.

    • PERFECT CASE & KEYBOARD FOR MY IPAD AIR
I must give this 5 stars - even though I wish the keyboard/case came in other colors but white. I need to clean it often - as it gets smudges. Otherwise, the keyboard is just the right size and keystroke feel for my needs. The case protects my iPad Air perfectly

    • Command Functions Don’t Always Work
The overall design is great—a nice and clean look! However, the biggest flaw is that basic Command functions don’t always work. I can’t use “Command C” to copy or “Command P” to paste, and I can’t use any command key function. I have to keep taking the iPad off and on the keyboard. I’ve contacted Apple, received a replacement, and yet I still have the issue. It doesn’t seem like any tech support agent had any idea how to help me. This item would’ve received 5 stars if that small but huge feature had been implemented or fixed. I should be able to use a $300 keyboard’s basic functions. ... show more

It's well designed, works well, but it's quite heavy. That's my only complaint other than that the only color option is white.

Posited as an "upgrade", but removes color customizations and haptic feedback. Even worse, the keyboard is no longer backlit! No more comfy typing in the dark.

    • Good quality but extremely HEAVY!
Keyboard has good functionality and the track pad works well. However, the keyboard is EXTREMELY heavy. Much heavier than any other Apple iPad keyboard I've owned making it prohibitive to carry in my purse or luggage which I've often done previously. With the keyboard attached, my iPad Air feels heavier to carry around than my MacBook Air. And the iPad comes off the magnetic back easily unless you open it at just the right angle. Apple totally missed the mark on this one. Unfortunately, there are not a lot of good alternatives out there. Makes me regret I purchased a new iPad. ... show more
