Arrived pretty quick, securely packaged. The seat is comfortable, lower back portion is good and arm rests are cushy. Now for design flaws: Opening the foot rest it FLIES open quick and is hard to close. When just sitting regular there's to much space to rest your head, will need to order a head rest pillow to fill the gap. If you try to just lean your head back while sitting it makes your back arch.. It's solid, doesn't rock or swivel. I'll be back to edit in a few weeks to update if things change.

The footrest on this chair does not close, the seller says you just have to kick it really hard. Really, you have to kick the hell out of it to get it locked down, that works but even then it will pop open without warning without even touching the chair. This happened the first time I sat in the damn thing. I had my 21 year old son come close down the footrest with his hands so I could get up I did grabbed my empty glass and before I could take a step it popped open and knocked me down, the glass broke and cut my hand in my attempt to catch my fall. Both of my adult sons have tried to close the footrest it takes good strength to get it down, but it rarely stays closed it pops open without warning 9 out 0f 10 times. I am not the only one who has been injured, my dog a 85lb Shepherd walked by the chair and the footrest popped open it scaird him and he jumped and hurt his leg landing on it the wrong way now his leg is swollen and he has a pronounced limp. I have an appt with the vet. The date for delivery was 1/24 it did not arrive until 1/27. I was at the store and got home in the pouring rain and could not even get in my front door, the box 90 lbs was blocking my door. I had to open the box and take it in piece by piece it was all wet, I was dripping, everything had to be dried down, even my hardwood floors and nobody home to help. I am 74 years old, I have a broken piece of a spinal tap left in my spinal column and 2 hips pending replacement surgery. I still hurt. Amazon is going to take it off my bill but the Company who sold it has done nothing. No way in hell am I going to take the time or trouble to return the damn chair, much less incur the expense, they can pay someone to come and remove the damn chair and pay my vet bill. A neighbor suggested put it on offer up for free just come get it. I will warn whoever wants it and get them to sign a release of liability before they take the damn thing. Humm maybe with superbowl coming soon it will work. The company has so far only responded saying I am not kicking it hard enough. It gets worse, I checked online trying to find a web page. I found it with a phone number and a woman's first name to call for help. I called got VM and left a msg in detail of my complaint. I rec'd a call back the same day and the woman was very kind and concerned. Oh my God, she told me the number is her private cell and she does not know or have any affiliation with the Co, she has had 12-15 calls in Jan. VM all complaints about the damn footrest. Can it get any worse? I am the only person she has called back but she was concerned about me and my dog. These chairs are made in Tailand and because of injury I have the right to file a complaint with Consumer Rights and they can be fined and forced to pay damages. I just want to see what they offer and let you folks know be really careful what you buy this company is not reliable. The chairs have a pretty good rating but read thru them, the footrest is not good and a lot of problems. I think mine must be one of the worst.

Update 11/13- using it as an everyday chair like I have it really starts to lose its softness and comfortableness. Sections where I would have my elbows on constantly have somehow pushed the filling away so I'm hitting the wood now. If you're going to get this chair as something for an office or guest room than id say 100% go for it. But if you're planning to use this as a daily driver in your living room you may want to consider other options. Either way, given the price it's not a bad deal either way. I'm 6ft tall. Put this together today. No tools, took 10 min. The seat is nice, firm and soft. Feels good. Excellent lumbar support. Reclines easily. I'll be back in a year with an update.

This was the first time I mail-ordered a recliner. My partner and I spent several weeks shopping online for recliners and reading many reviews. We came to this model and were encouraged by the positive feedback for the product and customer service. I am a bigger guy, so I was looking for something with a higher weight limit. My partner was looking for something as durable and comfortable. We pulled the trigger and bought 2 of these recliners. We have been extremely pleased with the delivery process and product. Each chair arrived in its own box, and they were fairly easy to lift and push. The boxes were just narrow enough to get through our apartment door. I am blind, so my girlfriend was in charge of unpacking and assembling. This process was so easy that she had both chairs unpacked, unwrapped, and assembled in less than 20 minutes. We have had the chairs for a couple of weeks, and they are outstanding. Although their construction is of lighter weight material, it is still strong. However, I would not advise getting these chairs if you have teenagers that will jump into them or horse around. These are better for adults who will take reasonable care of their furniture. I'm near the weight limit of the chair but have had no problems because I don't push the structural envelope with it. Great chair for the price.
