As usual universal nutrition doesn't fail vary good product. If you are looking for a punch in the face high stim product the is probably not for you. Animal energy feel more like a time released energy formula. I experienced Smooth type of alertness without the jitters even though each pill has 300mg of caffeine. It is a vary cost effective and designed to help replace the need for expensive energy drinks. ... show more

For the money, these little caffeine tablets are WONDERFUL! As someone who loves mental clarity, these little capsules, provide plenty of caffeine, WITHOUT the jitters. One of my favorite things about these, is that it gives you that nice little energy kick, without it feeling like a jolt of energy all at once, and the comedown on it, isn't a crash at all. For some reason these pills in particular make me really dizzy .(And sleepy a few hours later) Is not the caffeine cause I've taken way more than 300 mg, so it has to be something else in there. Either way, people should take caution, so that the effects are not fatal.(Which it almost was for me the first time i took only one) In my case it lowered my blood pressure drastically and made me lose consciousness. Half a pill doesn't give me any dangerous side effects. but instead of giving me energy it makes me sleepy for the rest of the day. (I don't know if i got a bad batch) ... show more

Absolutely hated them. Yup. Didn't work well for me... Not sure why either...? They made me irritable by afternoon time and I'm not sure why? Because nothing else has ever done that before..? So why does a product that I hate get a 5 Star review? Because every product that I've ever used from Universal over the years has been absolutely great. I've used: Animal Pak, Animal M-Stak, Beef Livers (Uni-liver), Beef Aminos, and I loved their old Quik Energy. Please bring them back!!! We loved them!!! But, I hated these and I still give a 5 Star review, why? Because the one and only time I didn't like one of their products they refunded my money--- Bam--- No questions asked. Now that's an All American Company! Love Universal!! That's basically all we can ask from a business transaction.... An exchange of value, money for the product and the money back if the product didn't work for you... Quick story: One time back in about 2000 or so, I went into a tanning salon up in the Venice L.A. area and there's huge IFBB looking dude behind the counter. And he had an advertisement for Animal Staks. I said, of I liked their M-Stak version.... He says, yeah I'm actually the guy in the Ad. It was Bodybuilder Joe DeAngelis... I asked him, do you actually use the product and he says, "yes, I actually do...!" Anyways, after talking w/ him for a bit he comped my drop-in tan cost. ... show more

    • Take it easy the first time
You are going to be in full speed after this, take it easy the first time and try half -open the capsule and dissolve the powder in juice or something- just in case. IT WORKS great to me, if I didn't sleep well, I'm lazy, too tired or I'm trying to find an excuse to not to workout, Animal Energy will totally do the trick, I have it 15 minutes or half hour before hitting the gym and I work out like a beast. I was a competitive bodybuilder, heavy weight woman champion -now retired still killing it at the gym just for fun- and this is one of the best products I ever tried. I had pretty high hopes for this product but ultimately was pretty disappointed. I work 12 hour shifts 6 days a week outside and have been drinking energy drinks for a while now. They always do the trick and I only buy the ones with 300mg of caffeine. They work absolutely perfect but I know that they have extra ingredients and at 2-3 dollars a pop it was getting kind of expensive. I bought these mainly due to the fact that it cost less than 50 cents a pill and had the same amount of caffeine. I took one when they arrived and it didn’t have a single effect. I tried them every day for a whole week and all they seek to do is make me sleepy. I thought that maybe it was just me since all the reviews are so high, but I took a chance and bought a different brand of pill and BAM. As awake as I’ve ever been. Maybe they just don’t work on me, maybe I got a bad batch, I’m really not sure. At the end of the day though they just plain didn’t work on me. I also want to point out that these are pretty big pills. I’m one of those stubborn guys that don’t really take medicine, so my experience with pills is pretty low, but man swallowing these things every day sucked. That’s just a personal thing though and didn’t affect my rating, I just wanted to point that out. ... show more
