Honestly wasn’t sure what to expect but these are good. Taste is fresh, not chemical. Kept me going on longer workouts without crashing later. Like that it’s caffeine free since sometimes I work out later in the day. Pack size is convenient too for when I go on runs.

I’ve tried a lot of gels for long runs and marathon training, and but these VitalFuel Banana Energy Gel have not caused me any stomach problems (which was one of the biggest problems I had with gels when running). First off, the banana flavor actually tastes like real banana, not like an artificial candy kind and it doesn't taste overly sweet. It goes down smooth, especially mid-workout, when your palate is sensitive. Also the ingredients make me feel good about what I'm putting into my body when I'm running: no added sugar, caffeine, or weird chemicals. Just 20g of real fruit carbs and potassium, which helps keep my cramps away when I run and gives a steady energy release without the jitters. It’s also vegan, gluten-free, and super easy on the stomach, even during hard workouts. The texture is a bit thicker than some sugary gels, but isn't it funny that I actually prefer that? it feels more natural and doesn’t spike your heart rate to extremities.
