I work early mornings 5 days a week and needed something other than a 200mg celcius everyday mainly because I’m trying to consume things with cleaner ingredients but also because I am sensitive to caffeine and that much makes me feel like my hearts going to jump out of my chest. The nectar drink packets only have 75 mg of caffeine and it is green tea so it’s natural something i was looking for. The flavor is good although it does seem to kind of fall of which is odd but I just add a squirt of stevia sweetener to it and it finishes the flavor for me with just a bit of extra natural sweet. Although it does not give me the buzz a normal energy drink would, it does help give me a boost in my day and not make me feel so groggy still two hours into my shift. Another plus is there is no crash because it’s natural energy. I could even drink a second one later in the day if I really needed to. All in all I think this is an excellent product and replacement if you’re trying to cut caffeine down or trying to find a more natural caffeine source! ... show more

    • Disappointing after trying the non-caffeinated version

I do not like this product. I am a huge fan of the non-caffeinated version of this product but caffeinating a hydration product is an endeavor doomed to fail. I subscribe to the non-caffeinated version of this product and love it so much I used it all up. I ordered this product to hold me over. It gives me the jitters and I attribute this to removing the caffeine from it's natural carriers and using it as an ingredient alone. It is sweet (from stevia) but the sweetness is wasted because it doesn't help the taste or mask the other taste that I'm assuming is the caffeine. It also seems to clump up in the packets more easily, especially the lemon. I drink one cup of coffee a morning and unsweetened mint green tea during the day. I was expecting a similar experience to green tea with this product. To me this product is closer to a caffeinated soft drink than a hydration drink. I personally get little hydration benefit from these packets. Also, at almost 1$ per packet, these things aren't cheap and fighting to get the powder out of the package is irksome. ... show more

I run an ecommerce business so I hate to leave a bad review somewhere. But seriously, these things are just so terrible AND way overpriced! First let me start off by saying that you only get 75mg of caffeine in each packet. I consider myself a lightweight when it comes to caffeine. When I make coffee, I often drink a 80% decaf to 20% regular blend. I only drink one cup of that, and it is more than enough caffeine for me. However, when it comes to these things, I need to combine 2 packets in order for it to do its job. So essentially, the 30 packets I got only lasted me less than 2 weeks. Most people tolerate much more caffeine than me. Secondly, let's get to the taste. Who on earth approved the taste of this to then go into production? I want to know who drank this and said, that's great, let's go with this! For the last 2 weeks, while I drink this product, I wondered about things like this. Even when I combine 2 packets, any kind of fruit flavor is VERY mild, and completely overshadowed by the tastes of magnesium and salt. If I recall the lemon flavor was the worst, and I usually love anything lemon. It wasn't the taste of the different fruit flavorings themselves, it was more that the flavor was just so faint and other salt type flavors were much more forthcoming. I don't know that much about the energy drink business. But it's just my hunch that this product is massively overpriced. If more fruit flavor was added, like triple the amount, dial back the salts, and up the caffeine, this could be a nice product and maybe you could get away with charging $30. Maybe... ... show more
