I have several angle grinders, and this one works as well as any of the name brand ones. It is easy to use, once you get used to the power-level switch, and the Makita battery I used provided plenty of power. It is well-constructed and seems durable. It's a good value over more common names.

I was about to buy an angle grinder from the local stores when I found this one. I have no complaints, it is hefty and feels high quality, and it costs significantly less than a name brand. It works with Makita batteries which I already had. Run time was roughly 20 minutes of actual grind time on a fully charge 4Ah battery. I have been using it for grinding metal for welding and it has had no trouble or stalling while grinding anything that I used it on. I found the speed selection a little bit odd and non-intuitive, as there is a "power" button near the battery interface that you push to cycle between the three speeds, but it works fine once you are familiar. This was definitely worth buying over a name brand.

I have not used this yet since it does not come with a battery, which is disappointing, but just handling it gives me a decent idea of what to expect. It feels like a light duty tool that should be fine for simple around the house tasks, but the housing does feel on the cheaper side, so I would not expect it to hold up to rough use. The grip and layout seem comfortable, it is fairly lightweight (the metal in the fronts has some nice weight to it though) and the included handle and guard adjust easily, so once I get a compatible battery I am sure it will do basic jobs without much issue. The listed speed is 8500 RPM, and even though this is a simpler single speed setup, that is still plenty for basic cutting and grinding around the home. For the price, I have no real complaints, just keep in mind it feels more like an occasional use grinder than something you would rely on heavily.

This cordless grinder works exactly as I hoped it would. I mainly wanted it for small metal projects around the house, like cutting a piece of steel from our fence, and it handled that easily. It’s also great for more precise work, like modifying computer cases, and I was impressed by how smooth and powerful it felt while running. The best part is that it’s compatible with my existing Makita batteries, so I didn’t need to buy anything extra. Because it doesn't come with a battery, so the battery life is whatever battery you are using. It’s lightweight, easy to control, and has enough power to handle basic household metalwork without overheating. Overall, a great value tool that performs well for casual or DIY use.

The media could not be loaded. There are many things that I really like about this grinder and prefer over my Makita BGA 452 grinder. The primary one may be ergonomics. I like that the grip part of the handle is a significant amount smaller in diameter as compared to my Makita. This just makes it easier to handle and control. I like the three speeds. The fastest is rated at 8500 RPM as compared to the Makita Angle Grinder BGA 452 that's rated at 10,000 RPM. The Maxcular feels faster and more powerful. And the lower speeds are nice for specific applications like using a wire brush or other times when you just want to be careful not to get carried away. I like too that it's brushless. This significantly improves the battery life over the Makita. This tool feels like Makita quality and functions well. My main complaint with this grinder is the arbor shaft size. I use Weiler grinding wheels with 5/8-11 thread. This is the standard for professional grinders. This Maxcular has an M14 arbor. I purchased these thread adapters to make it usable with 5/8-11 wheels but it extends the shaft length putting more stress on bearings, making the safety shield useless and making the tool feel more cumbersome. I realized that the flat on the shaft is, by chance, the perfect size to use with the two pin arbor wrench that comes with the Maxcular. I'll probably not use the adapter on a regular basis and instead just mount a cutoff wheel on this grinder and leave it. One thing I also prefer on my older Makita is that the battery mounts perpendicular to the tool so you can sit the tool down balanced on the battery. Batteries on the Maxcular mount at an angle so you can't balance it on the battery. I've used this grinder with both Makita original batteries and with knock offs. I had no issues until this evening when I installed a 2 year old Makita BL 1850 (which has been on the tool before). The tool came on momentarily but then wouldn't keep running. The battery had the test light flashing back and forth and would not charge. I would not say 100% that this tool ruined my battery. It could just be a coincidence but I'll probably stick with only using it with Makita knock off batteries rather than risk another $Makita$.
