I wanted to have an extra bed if I ever needed it. So an air mattress is a good choice, because when its not in use, which is most of the time, I can keep it in the closet out of the way. And when its needed you can put them about anywhere that has enough room to blow it up. BUT it has been a Long Time since I've had an air mattress. Mostly because all the one's I had before you would end up on the floor in the middle of the night. Have to get back up, and I had to use my vacuum cleaner (with the hose on the output side) to pump them back up etc. This mattress surprised me a bit in what seems to be very quality made. It is much firmer than the cheap air mattresses I used to have, the top cover has a nice feel to it. The sides also don't collapse like the old air mattresses I had, as if you got anywhere near the side it would push down and roll you off the bed. I will add that I'm 6'4" and near 300lbs, the bed was long enough that my feet didn't hang off the end. And the bed felt fine, even when I rolled over on my side as I am normally a side sleeper. It has its own built in air pump which has a compartment for the power cord. I didn't have a plug near enough in this room, so I used an extension cord. It only took about 3 minutes to fully inflate. And if it were to ever go flat at least you just have to turn the pump back on. It also comes with two patch repairs if it ever got a hole as well. The pump also allows you to Deflate the bed! And it pulls out all the air completely, which means its nice and flat when you go to roll it back up. Which makes it fit nicely back into its storage bag. I think this is a very nice air mattress and is great to have on hand.

I thought it would be handy to have in case I need to spend the night in my son's apartment or if we have guests. Included in the box were the air mattress, a drawstring carrying bag, a patch kit, and instructions. Inflating it involved simply unfolding it, removing the 6' power cord from its storage compartment located in the pump housing, plugging it into an outlet, and turning the dial to the INFLATE position. Mine inflated in about 2.5 minutes. I left the pump on another 30 seconds after that to see if it would get more firm but didn't notice much of a difference. So, for me, the inflates within 3 minutes claim was correct. Deflating it took a little over 3 minutes. I thought that I'd have to push a lot of the air out manually to be able to fold it again but I didn't. I ran the pump for the 3+ minutes, turned it off, and folded much effort at all. The IDOO is the first air mattress I've had that's this thick (18"). I like having this much air between me and the floor. It's a bit on the firm side and I had no problems sitting on it or reclining my NFL running back sized body on it. I had to laugh at the picture showing people jumping on it as I don't think that would be a good idea. Even the picture of the couple engaging in play made me chuckle. As the manual states, it's for temporary sleeping arrangements and anything beyond that will void the warranty. The pump on the IDOO mattress is built into the mattress itself which is very handy. Everything packs up nice and tidy in the drawstring bag and all you have to do is pull it out, unfold it, plug it into an electrical outlet, and switch it to INFLATE. It's very convenient as you don't have to deal with external pumps. The downside to that is this is the only way to inflate it. There are no valves for manually pumping it up. It can't be inflated without access to electricity in some form either from a generator or battery source (car/truck/RV/UPS). I'm okay with that. On the whole, I like it. It's nice, thick, supportive and quick to setup and take down.

You know, I just thought this would be a handy thing to have around as an extra bed for a guest, one of my nephews/niece, etc. I have had MANY air mattresses in my life time but really, this is super impressive. Everything is neat, orderly and thoughtfully designed and it works fantastic. I am NOT a small person - I'm 5'9" and ahem, plus size... and I fit easily on the twin size. It inflates in a minute or so and it DEFLATES under power as well. And I mean it DEFLATES... super time saver when putting it away... no rolling up and squashing to make sure all of the air is out and it fits back into it's storage bag. And, speaking of... the storage bag FITS the bed. It's not one of those "I don't know how they got that in there in the first place" kind of tight gear bags. I've absolutely zero complaints about this... will order another couple.

I left it aired up for two nights, for about 48 hours, and it did not seem to deflate at all. I haven't used it much yet, I did lay on it and sit on it a little bit, mostly I wanted to see how well it would air up and to see how well it would hold air. The quality is very similar to the other air mattresses that I have used. It's a good quality air mattress but it is still plastic. The built in inflater is a great addition. It airs up quickly and deflates fairly quickly, with help. Glad that it comes with a storage bag. It was easy to get it back in the bag after deflating and folding it. The bag is a nice size, you don't have to worry about folding it up perfect to get it back into the bag.

Loving the way this has the autofill feature because I can see me attempting to manually trying to fill it by hand and that would be a real pain. Heck, I could see my family taking shifts trying to air it. Anyways the mattress is very firm , and it seems durable, I mean I don't suggest you poke with a blade to find out how durable. It must be priddy comfortable seeing that after it was fully aired , I found my self asleep after lying down on it see what it felt like. Last thing to mention is that it is huge and tall ; I call it a baby sofa.

I love that this mattress has a pump built in to it. It's a little on the noisy side but it fills fairly quickly and deflating it was also a breeze. I slept on it with my toddler and it held air pretty good and had only softened some by morning. All in all, it seems like good quality
