I did not have any unrealistic expectations considering the very moderate price and the fact that this tool was made in communist China. This is where most Makita power tools are unfortunately being produced these days! I purchased it because of its compatibility with 18 Volt Makita batteries but don’t be fooled by the tool color, this is no Makita! This being said, I have to admit that I have been very pleasantly surprised by the performance and versatility of this tool for light duty applications. It won’t replace a conventional angle grinder for more serious jobs. I can’t comment on its durability having only used it a few times. To be continued at a later date.

I got this grinder because it's compatible with seesiii battery 21v...... I have had 6 different 21 v grinders, I like to scrap metal on my days off... This cut through 1" aluminum tube on an angle without out stopping.... Previous grinders quit when too much pressure is applied, right out of the box... weak trash grinders.... Though aluminum is soft metal, the angle I cut made it work hard, and it has an immediate hard "kick" when I press the trigger... Claims 120000 rpm while others claim 10.5 maximum.... It feels like it gets up there.... Immediate top speed within a second.... If anyone can write a review on angle grinders, it would be me, and this runs strong and powerful for minutes straight. Great product, doesn't quit on hard cuts! I'll update if it fails because I'll be cutting thru feet of steel every month. So far ,10/10, impressed with it's performance out of the box.

Used about 20+ times in past 60 days. Its being used next to my Makita grinder, but with a different blade. Its definitely not Makita heft, but does get the job done. If i dropped it with battery on more then 20 ft, im sure it would not survive. Where the Makita has been dropped and survives everytime. The battery fit is extremely tight and hard to remove OEM makita batteries. The extra blades are not the highest quality, the metal blade lasted a day. Overall, it works and its less then 65% off Makita price. But, nowhere near Makita quality.
