It works great. Use it with my Makita batteries, to carve out pecan wood trays and bowls. Not the most powerful little thing, but it's held up to a ton of use. For the price it's good. Battery life is very low with this unit, but it's doing a ton of grinding.

Its NOT a Makita, okay? It eats battery power and the motor heats up pretty quick. NOT for heavy duty usage I would think it's best 0n a 20% duty cycle. However as a DIY user that doesn't use it as their primary religion it should last for its intended (light duty) usage. It would be best if you have a couple of batteries handy. ... show more

Works great for what it is. It runs great with my Makita batteries and does a good job. It is not the same quality as my Makita tools but I only needed this to sharpen mower blades and some light occasional grinding. I don’t think it would hold up to daily use but perfect for someone who has the Makita tool platform but doesn’t want to spend Makita money on something that doesn’t get used frequently. I got this grinder because it's compatible with seesiii battery 21v...... I have had 6 different 21 v grinders, I like to scrap metal on my days off... This cut through 1" aluminum tube on an angle without out stopping.... Previous grinders quit when too much pressure is applied, right out of the box... weak trash grinders.... Though aluminum is soft metal, the angle I cut made it work hard, and it has an immediate hard "kick" when I press the trigger... Claims 120000 rpm while others claim 10.5 maximum.... It feels like it gets up there.... Immediate top speed within a second.... If anyone can write a review on angle grinders, it would be me, and this runs strong and powerful for minutes straight. Great product, doesn't quit on hard cuts! I'll update if it fails because I'll be cutting thru feet of steel every month. So far ,10/10, impressed with it's performance out of the box. ... show more
