I picked up the Verging 4-1/2 Inch Angle Grinder for a serious DIY metalwork project, and overall, it’s a solid performer for the price point. What Works Well - High Power: The 10-amp, 1200 watt motor is no joke. It handled cutting through 1/4" steel angle iron and grinding down welds without bogging down or overheating. It also features 6 selectable speeds from 3000 RPM up to 11000 RPM. - Loaded with what you need: I appreciate that it comes with both cutting and grinding wheels right out of the box. It also includes a wire brush for heavy-duty cleaning tasks. You can get to work immediately without an extra trip to the hardware store. - Ergonomics: The non-slip, shock-absorbing rubber handle can be placed in three positions to meet your specific need. The handle is comfortable and feels secure. Even during longer sessions, the vibration is manageable, which helps with precision. Room for Improvement - Safety features: There is no spindle brake when you let go of the trigger. This is typically a feature on units that cost 2X the price of this one. - Guard Adjustment: The safety guard is a bit stiff to adjust. It stays in place once set, but it takes a little muscle to get it into the right position. - Needs a case: The grinder does not include a carry/storage case. It would be a lot more convenient if everything could be kept in a single case or bag. Final Verdict: The Verging Angle Grinder is a beast for heavy-duty tasks. We have been doing some home renovation projects and trying to build up our tool arsenal. I was pleasantly surprised by how powerful and strong the motor was on this grinder. The quality of this grinder has been amazing, and it was ready to use immediately after taking it out of the box. This tool is very versatile; it cut through medal with ease and I could use the other brushes to do various things such as cleaning off rust and polishing. The grinding wheels were very sturdy and durable, and they were anti shock and non-slip which made me feel more comfortable using it. The handle was ergonomically friendly and helped relieved any safety issues I may have. The grinder had various speeds which was beneficial to adjust depending on what you were using the grinder for. The grinder has handles you can use and place in different places depending on what function you're utilizing it for. This grinder operates very smoothly, safely and has been very reliable. This has been a great tool to have for big and small projects. Overall, I am really impressed with this grinder, and I feel it was worth every penny.

This is a corded angle grinder, which is ok by me. Just to state the obvious always make sure your cord is clear of where you are cutting. That's one of the trade offs of choosing corded versus battery powered. The box includes a few grinding disks to get you started, and a wire brush attachment. I kind of hate wire brushes for power tools as they can fling those wires when they break, but wear eye protection (or better yet full face protection,) and some heavy gloves and you'll be mostly protected. Power on this seems decent and it doesn't feels flimsy. Not a bad deal at this price.

fired it up as soon as it arrived and yeah… it got power baby. used it in the garage for some quick grinding and a bit of rust cleanup and it cut through way easier than I expected for the price, didn’t feel weak at all. handle actually helps keep it steady, especially when you’re not trying to fight the tool the whole time. comes with a bunch of discs which is nice, didn’t have to go buy extras right away. it is a bit loud and throws sparks like crazy but that’s kinda expected with these. overall feels solid for basic work, just wear gloves and eye protection and you’re good.

The grinder arrived quickly and feels solid right out of the box. My existing 4‑1/2" wheels fit perfectly, and the included cutting and grinding discs are a nice bonus.
