Good for an emergency situation
As other reviewers have stated these are really bright when you look at them but the amount of light they give off doesn't translate to illuminating a whole room as a traditional light bulb would. It's more like a 20 watt bulb or a few candles. However there is enough light to see your way around or sit nearby to read so in an emergency or outside using more than one these should be sufficient. The build quality is not very good most noticeably in the battery compartment which consists of very flimsy springs and a bottom cap that is tough to get seated properly to screw back on. However for the $15 I paid for 4 units they'll be good to have in the next power outage we will encounter. ... show more

Love!
My whole family has these and loves them. We use them when the power goes out and they are BRIGHT. I love how compact they are as well. Bonus but the keep toddlers entertained when the power goes out as well. 🤪

Perfect for emergency or camping
I gave out several of these in our club as we've experienced power outages of late. Perfect to keep stairs, bathrooms and barns lit safely.

Please are on the small sign about 7 inches tall, but very portable in handy.

Not bad for the price
Was bought solely to individually place and have in key rooms in the house for easy access for emergency use, in case of power outages. Works great for that purpose.
