The installation wasn’t too complicated I would say. I watched a video to help run me through taking my car apart and the wiring so as long as you follow step by step you should be good. Everything was working fine with a really good sized screen and no lag or anything. I did come across an issue where a notification “No WiFi or mobile data connection” displayed and didn’t let me tap any of the icons so I contacted the seller and they were able to provide me with a step by step video which was beyond helpful So to conclude, not only an A+ on quality but A++ on their costumer service.

I've had this Apple CarPlay system for over a month now, and I’m thrilled with how well it works! The installation was a breeze—thanks to a comprehensive YouTube video that walked me through every step and wire. So far, I’ve had zero technical issues. The system has enhanced my driving experience in several ways: my backup camera now displays a larger view, I can watch Amazon Prime shows and YouTube videos while parked, and even my speakers sound a bit better. The only drawback is that it doesn’t come with a built-in navigation system. It does feature Google Maps, but it requires an internet connection to function, which seems unnecessary since I could use my phone’s navigation with Apple CarPlay. It’s a minor inconvenience but not a dealbreaker. Additionally, the microphone for phone calls is quite low and muffled, so I often have to use my phone’s speaker or connect my AirPods. Despite these minor issues, I definitely feel I got my money’s worth and am very satisfied with the system overall!

This head unit kind of works. My factory screen died so I figured instead of spending the same amount of money on a 10 year old part, I'd buy something nicer and newer aftermarket. Installing the wiring was relatively straightforward, the video instruction is unclear about certain details. Now for my issues after installing, I see a "drive carefully systems initializing" message every time I start my car. The screen takes between 15-25 seconds to boot after my car starts. Both the traction control 'on' and 'off' lights are now lit after installing with no way to disable or differentiate which is true even with the button now. The steering wheel volume control buttons work; but the voice, call, and media buttons are now unresponsive and umprogrammable via the settings. The vehicle time resets every time the car starts. The blind spot camera is inaccessable and umprogrammable despite trying all available video port connections. My USB ports in the car are now disabled and I must use the provided adapter for a USB header but there is nowhere in the car to route this cable from behind the trim without drilling a hole. There is a small cooling fan in the back similar to the OEM infotainment computer, this fan runs constantly unless you unplug it, even with the car completely off. The screen is clear and smooth and bigger than factory, but the compatibility issues mean I'm returning this for a different model

The media could not be loaded. I have 0 experience with car radios and I found this very simple to install and so far works amazing!!! The screen isn’t glitchy or slow at all. I didn’t have to purchase any extra harnesses or adapters for this as it came with everything it needs. Car radio installers were trying to charge me $250-375 to install this radio but I just followed a YouTube video and it took me about an hour. I would say the most difficult part was removing the original car radio but the installation of the android carplay was very simple. Works with my factory camera and wheel! It also tells you when your car door is open and which exact door it is. You can also control the AC from the screen which I also love!

I drive a 2016 Honda Civic LX and installed this head unit in about 30 minutes. I’ve done an installation before on previous cars, but it would be easy for a first timer. Di-Ai-Why has a great step by step video to follow on YouTube. Apple CarPlay connects quickly and the unit looks great. Backup camera functions without any extra setup, the view is a bit blurrier since the screen is larger but I actually get a wider view than with the car’s original screen The only issue I had was that the initial sound quality was poorer than the original and the steering wheel controls didn’t work. I emailed the customer service and was met with an almost instant reply to every question I had and all of my problems were solved. If you’re struggling, reach out before you quit! Excellent product at a great price.
