I first off want to let everyone know just how wonderful this company's customer service is. Top notch, from offering additional suction cups in the heat to just following up on how our experience has been with their product. All of it has left me incredibly pleased. There are so many car mounts, and being particularly short (5'3) I've always been worried about obstructing my already lessened view of the road. I can say that adjustability of this allows me to have it straight on my dash, but extended far enough towards me so I can see the entirety of the road without a big phone in the way. There's another plus to this feature though, and that's for cooling. Phones get very hot while charging, and if you use GPS or any other app while driving you would typically keep your phone charged while you do it. Almost every other mount I've used has had my phone (black) positioned on my black dashboard, in a black holder, under the heat and unrelenting sun. Needless to say, I've had many overheat warnings in the past. This is the first mount I can have full customizability with in terms of placement. What does that mean? Nice and cool set above my air vent. Direct icy airflow to my charging phone. This isn't a slow USB port charger I'm using either, it's a standard USB C type that rapid charges my phone. That gets HOT. But not with this bad boy, that is also constructed so air can get to the back of your phone too. This thing sucks. Literally. The suction on this is so intense that I didn't need the base plate for many of the cars I've tried it on so far. It just slurps onto that surface and STAYS. The one con is that you absolutely need it if you have a rounded surface or heavier texture on your dash, it makes it impossible to actually stick to the surface, but that's not at all a production issue and more of a "why are car manufacturers making dashboards that are super hard to keep clean" issue. Overall? I've tried pressuring all my relatives to buy this product. I am a major fan, and have even tried getting my fiancé's mother to purchase it (She's in England and drives for work often). I completely and utterly recommend this whether it's for glass placement or dashboard. Side note, this can also double as a really effective phone holder in the kitchen (not it's advertised use). I've stuck it upside down off my cabinet and it's made reading recipes much easier!

I am very happy with this phone holder. Plenty of adjustments to set your phone just right. You can swivel the holder clockwise or counterclockwise and then secure it with the locking nut. The arm tilts up and down, and also telescopes out if you have a deeper dash. I use this for a Galaxy S21+ and even though it is a larger phone, this holder is very sturdy! Even with the arm extended slightly, there is no looseness at the base or excessive bouncing while driving. Set your phone on the base and squeeze the padded sides in to secure it. There is a release button on the side. The 2 feet on the bottom that your phone rests on are positioned so that a charging cable can still be plugged in while using the mount. At least with my phone, anyway. The suction cup is super sticky! Make sure your windshield is clean before you mount it. I've removed it and repositioned it on my windshield and was surprised at how grippy it is. It has held up well in the heat, too. I've had other mounts that fell off the windshield when they got too hot. I tried going cheaper in the past and had to buy replacements anyway. This is well worth the money.

Most vent clip mounts I used were flimsy and never felt secure, so I switched to an adhesive windshield mount. Worked very well and was super sturdy and secure. But after a couple southern summers, the adhesive began to melt and it started to slide down the windshield. It was a pain to remove and clean residual adhesive. Thought I would try the vent clip on this one and it is working nicely so far. Very secure and sturdy. My phone hasn't dropped once, even when driving through potholes ans speed bumps.

I received this item a few days ago and wanted to test it out in various weather conditions before writing a review. The only place I have installed the holder was on the windshield, but it is possible to place it on the dashboard which I havent tried. The box also came with a vent clip if the other 2 locations are not suitable. Previously, I had a vent clip holder which kept rattling and even shook when I had the phone on it. I recently made some upgrades to my vehicle which causes the vehicle to shake a little more, so I decided to try a different route to fix the shaking. This holder keeps my phone from shaking and making any noise which is awesome. The overall built is very solid and easy to adjust. There are 3 different adjustments available. Increase/decrease length of the stand, change the angle of the arm, and rotate the phone holder 360 degree. Placing the device in the holder is very simple. Lean it against the backing and clamp it on the sides. To release, simply push the button and the clamps will come undone. Overall, I am satisfied with the product and price. I'd recommend it! Update! New version received. I previously had the old version of this phone holder but after one month of use, the arm was starting to loose integrity. My car shakes more than regular vehicles due to modifications; therefore, the joints would slowly come loose. This new version is awesome so far. The suction power is definitely better and the knobs to secure the arms seem to be made sturdier. The claws that hold the phone also release much quicker than the previous version. I have it installed for about a week now and have not noticed any lossening of the joints. This product comes with a vent clip and a dash pad, which can be used to install the holder on top if no suitable surfaces is available for the suction cup.
