It works with the majority of Andis detachable blade clippers, including the AG, AGC, AGR, BG, BGC, BGR, MBG, and SMC series. The heat-resistant close- cutting blade gives a smoother, cooler cutting experience. Carbonized steel blades are simple to replace; simply remove the old blade, brush off any hair or debris, and reassemble the new replacement blade in the same manner. Blade pulls hair. Bought this exact blade from this seller three years ago and it was awesome. Sadly, I dropped it just right and it broke. So I bought another one from same seller. This blade looks different from my old one and the one pictured. It sounds different- very loud and the blade itself moves differently. It moves faster. I oiled it and thought maybe after a couple cuts it might improve. Sadly I will return this one. That is the only reason for two stars. At 0.2mm, this clipper blade cuts almost as close as their 0.1mm trimmer blade. Good to have both. After previously having the 0.2mm ceramic blade, I prefer the steel version. Feels sharper. Plus ceramic blades break easier, cost more, and if there's a measurable difference in the heat created, it's not much. Both run cool enough, in my opinion. I’m a professional dog groomer. I have many Andis blades. They cut hair nicely and they’re pretty quiet on my Andis cordless clippers. Unfortunately, this 00000 blade that I recently ordered was dull upon opening. That means I have to wait for my blade guy to come pick up blades, though he will not come for just one. I also have to pay extra money out of pocket to get it sharpened, which is extremely irritating for something I just bought. Come on Andis, get it together. ... show more

I have a Wahl Mentor clipper and it came with 4 blades with the shortest being a 000. It cuts close, but this Andis Outliner is much closer, almost as good as a razor without the irritation. I adjusted the blade to a near zero gap and went to town on my head and it was awesome. I cut my hair pretty aggressively and with the small teeth that are close together you don't get any skin between the teeth to get nicks or irritation from the cutting blade.
