I had to furnish my apartment completely via Amazon (I'd moved out of the country and sold all my furniture so now that I've returned, I needed all new furniture) after calling several local furniture stores in Denver and either their stuff was ridiculously expensive or I had to wait 3, 6, 12 weeks to get something! My only fear was receiving stuff that was either damaged (because it was going to be a huge hassle to ship the stuff back considering the size/weight and the fact that I don't have a car) OR receiving something that was less than the quality depicted in the pics for a particular item. I was PLEASANTLY surprised! Thank you Amazon...to the rescue! These stools were a lifesaver so I had a spot to eat and so I could make full use of my kitchen island as my dining area since the living room in my apartment is too small to comfortably fit a dining table. I've got two critiques. One is that the back is smaller than I thought. I'm 5'4 and the backrest doesn't even reach midway up my back :( Two, the rods where you rest your feet are too skinny and I actually hurt the bottom of my foot when setting my foot on it barefooted, somehow my foot slipped & it aggravated a vein at the bottom of my feet... I had a bump and bruise and it was painful! Luckily, it was nothing major and I'm okay. Lesson: Do not rest your foot on these rods w/out slippers or shoes. Other than that, they're decent quality (considering the cost), color is pretty much aligned with what you see on Amazon and they were super easy to assemble. The entire bottom part arrives assembled (and I even contemplated not attaching the back and simply using them as backless stools). However, I attached the backs and it was easy-peasy. I def recommend these stools.

Ordered these after my Cockatoo chewed my leather counter stools. Love the color, low back offers zero support, but they look great. Sturdy, super easy to assemble. Also ordered cushions made for these type of chairs. Expensive leather counter stools were more comfortable, however these are smaller so I can now fit 4 chairs instead of 3. Would recommend.

The Distressed Teal color is more of a medium williamsburg blue. It appeared much more turquoise in all the pictures in the description and the reviews. They're ok otherwise. If I had looked at them before my hubby had kindly opened and put them altogether, I probably woule have returned them over the color. Oh well.
