Depending on which of the three catfish species you are fishing to catch - channel catfish, blue catfish or flathead catfish. Channel catfish: prefer nightcrawlers, balls of cheese, and hot dogs. They’re suckers for stink bait, too. (most numerous and smallest) Flathead and blue catfish: prefer meat and live meals. baitfish like shad, herring, and bream, cut portions of fresh or frozen fish are more popular. Q:What line size should I use for catfish? 10- to 12-pound test line: If you're fishing for channel catfish that typically inhabit relatively open water, where it usually weighs less than 10 lbs. 80- to 100-pound test line: If you're fishing for the usual flathead catfish that like sunken wood tangles, or if you're fishing for big bluefish that usually weigh 50 or more pounds. Monofilament line and braided line are recognised as the best lines for catfish fishing. • Beautiful rod, very high quality. As good as my madkatz, Anvil, Chasincats rods
Color: Pink
Wife loves this rod, it's got backbone for days. It works best weighted heavy, casting easy. If you really cast hard, loading the rod it will backlash your reel. We have fished it once, im sure we will get better with it not lashing the matching A.M. Reel.

  • Very nice rod
Color: Green
I'm a bank fisherman up in Minnesota. My homie a bought this rod for sturgeon fishing. This pole has such a sensitive tip and the backbone for monsters. It UV glows under a blacklight

  • Great for the price
Color: Purple
Seems like a decent e glass rod. Sensitive until about mid point down the rod then solid backbone. Reminds me of an old school ugly stick. 10-65 lb test is a strange range but seems solid

  • Good rod
Color: White
So I was putting on a 2 ounce weight and when I would bend the rod i would hear little cracking sounds I don’t know if that’s normal but good sensitive rod like the white color it weighed a little heavier than I thought but good rod for the money.

  • Beauty in Action
Color: Pink
Absolutely love the bright pink color and grips on this pole. I see many fishing trips in my future catching all the fish. I do wish I would have waited to buy it. I paid full price and it dropped to $89 right after.

Very nice quality. Packaged nicely and protected in a hard plastic sleeve and includes rod cover for extra protection.

  • Favorite rod!
Color: Purple
Amazing strurdy rod! Looks and feels great! Down side it doesn't really glow in the dark. *Edit* after many fishing trips it has started to fade alot.
