  • Excellent E-bike and Affordable
Color: Blue Electric Bike
The quality you get in this Ancheer e-bike is amazing especially for the price. The unboxing is quick and easy. Open the top of the box and just lay the box on its side. Then you can pull the bike straight out of the box and remove packaging. It’s mostly already put together for you. Install the handlebars, seat, front brake caliper, wheel, kickstand, and pedals. Inflate the tires and that’s about it. Make sure all the bolts and screws are tight before you jump on it and ride. A handy instruction manual and tools are included with the bike. On my first test ride all I could say was WOW:) The power this e-bike has is unbelievable. You can go up hills effortlessly. The rugged tire tread holds you perfectly on the road paved or non paved. Also the customer service is the best. I had to reach out to them for a slightly bent brake rotor that was rubbing against the front brake pads. Their response time was within 24 hours. They sent a replacement rotor in just a couple days. You can’t go wrong buying one of these e-bikes. No regrets with my purchase and it didn’t break the bank. ... show more

  • A Good Bike, at a Great Value
All in all, a very good purchase. I have wanted an e-bike for a while, but was afraid of the cost. When I saw this one and read the reviews, I figured it would be worth a chance, and either I would like having one, and maybe eventually get a nicer one, or I would remember how much I don’t like bike riding, and save myself some money for a space occupier. Assembly was pretty simple, especially if you are a bicycle person. I am not. Through YouTube, I was able to get the gear somewhat tuned, but I had to bring it in to a bike shop for them to get everything set right. I could ride it after my attempt, but the bike shop made it way better. It was a decent $11 spent. I’m a bigger guy, so I bought the 350w version. Plenty of torque and power for me. The battery and motor setup are not very advanced. There is one button that turns it on and selects the amount of assist. So you basically have a 5-speed motor that runs when the pedals are going. So your assist is just on at whatever level you set it. To get to 3 from 5, you have to click past one and two, if that makes sense. And it’s really only 4 gears, because I don’t notice anything on 1. You also have a throttle on the right. When you turn on the assist, at any level, the throttle will drive the wheels without pedaling. It also seems to be a little bit of all or nothing with the throttle. It doesn’t seem like holding it softer makes you go slower. You kind of have to modulate your speed by timing your on and off. At first, all of this took a little getting used to, and when you make mistakes at first it can be a little unsettling. But after literally just a few minutes, or one good ride, it’s totally without thought. I would describe this bike as a good battery/motor system, on a typical $100-150 bike from a big box store. It’s not gonna win any awards for style and design. But it is probably very similar to any bike I would have purchased without a motor. I was not going to be spending $4-500 on a bike without a motor, and I was not going to be spending $1500 on an e-bike. This one hit a pretty sweet spot right in the middle. One other note, it’s heavy. Not prohibitively so, but if you are loading two bikes, this one will be markedly heavier. ... show more

  • New E-biker, very impressed, be vigilant during assembly
Color: Blue Electric Bike
I haven't used bike for commuting for quite awhile. Last I was living in a city where there was enough infrastructure meant for bikes to exist. Now I live in a rural area that pretends like sidewalks are "interesting suggestions". I've only just gotten the bike today, so I can't speak on long term resilience. I hope to update it as the mileage gets to different increments. Packaging: The really make sure the hefty way things are delivered will not effect the bike. It had do much foam and packing that I felt like I should volunteer at my local wildlife reserve for repentance. That being said, I could tell it needed it. The protective pieces they use took the beating it would have otherwise received. It feels hardy, but so was the equipment and that still got dinged theough inch thick cardboard. Assembly: I'm 5'6" 175lbs, i do yoga, workout, and am used to lugging around large boxes at my job. So, keep that in mind. The bike with battery attached is over 50lbs. It was quick to set up. An hour and a half. Would have been shorter if I didn't keep getting distracted. They provide you with the tools you need and they don't feel flimsy. Not fancy, but not going to break making sure you tighten the way you should. It comes with written instructions and a QR code that leads to their YouTube channel. Keep in mind your bike model! There is specific video for each specific model. The videos are short with no speech, but in a distraction free setting so there is no obstruction of what is being done. Anything you're having a hard time placing, you can refer to the manual. The manual is still a WIP with translation but one of the better versions IMO. When it comes to tightening screws, keep going and then a little more. Will be explained further later. I did get left with one piece that I'm not sure what it's for and didn't show up in the video or the manual. Remember to pump your tires. It's between 40-65 PSI. I only have a hand pump so I kept going to 50 before my arms gave out. Still felt great. Battery: mine was already pre installed and low energy. I let it charge for several hours before testing. Painless process. You receive a key to lock and unlock the battery into place. You also get a spare. Put it up. Riding: for some inexplicable reason my chain had popped gears. We were able to quickly resolve it. Check before riding. it is incredibly easy to ride. Reminds me of my lighter framed road bikes when I used to build them. It was a smooth painless pedaling even withou tpedal assist. I got this to ride to work to avoid car schedule conflicts. My ride is only for 1.8 miles. This has more than enough power to get me there and back without needing to charge. Husband and I tested it. Easily reached 22 MPH. Brakes were strong, but I'm always cautious with that anyway. I drift to lower speeds and then apply pressure. I also rode in the grass a bit even if that isnt it's primary purpose. I have to compete with lifted trucks with LED lights that blot out the sun on tight curvy roads. So, occasionally it's more about protecting my life than the intended function. Happy to report that there is no difference in smoothness. But I wouldn't push it. The bad: This is where I expand on double check your tightening. My wheel came loose, not off, but loose during our 2 mile test. I reset the quick release lever (make sure the pieces are in the correct order) and had my husband tighten the lever. Essentially, "dad torque". It should hurt to lock it. A second test at the highest speeds and no issues, no looseness. Overall, it feels sturdy yet lightweight. It has a headlight, battery powered horn and a little ding bell. It also came a day sooner than projected. I hope to be back after 100 miles! ... show more

  • Good buy for your money
It's pretty durable, I'm 185ibs and it scootin right out of the box. Easy assembly. Tire's are soft and makes the ride pretty smooth and traction on gravel and grass. 25 miles in and I satisfied with the purchase. Top speed 19mph. Gears work well. Breaks work well. Trotting control, smooth 👍🏼

  • DONT BUY THIS BIKE BECAUSE IF IT BREAKS YOURE SCREWED
It was somewhat easy to assemble once I figured out I had to turn the handle bar stem around. It had every tool you needed to make it work. Battery is great and I think the pedal assist 4 is too much lol. It's super fun to use and very fast EDIT the bike waz great while it worked broke in less then a month tired popped multiple times front wheels became loose quickly the motor stopped working I asked for a replacement motor and they said they would send me one and I've been waiting 2 months so I've been using it as a normal bike and now the bike tire has come so loose it fell off while riding I've contacted the company and they have issued a partial refund to me and I keep telling them I want to return it and they keep dragging the process out they have offered me a 30 dollar refund I said no they offered a 80 dollar refund I said no they then said I should get the not or then sell the bike and then buy another one from them for a discounted price I just want my money back or a replacement since they said I had a Warranty the customer Sirvice sucks DONT BUY THIS BIKE BECAUSE IF IT BRAKES YOURE SCREWED ... show more

  • Very good entry level pedal assist bike
I love to bike and I have a nice road bike. My road bike is fun for riding but not so good for just touring and enjoying the sites. Also at 63 I am not so interested in powering up hills and maxing out speed on a flat. I want to ride, have fun and get exercise. I purchased this bike because it is an entry cost ebike with good reviews and I did not know if I would like riding a pedal assist bike. I love this bike. The assist adjustment on the handlebar is easy to use and convenient for your thumb to make adjustments to power. As you approach a hill you can easily adjust up the assist. After some trial and error, I found I could adjust the assist so I did not slow down on most hills. I can ride farther and enjoy the sites around me more. The bike was easy to assemble. I had the bike assembled in less than an hour after it arrived. The tool pack that comes with the bike is sufficient to assemble the bike. Basically, you attach the front tire, handlebars and seat. All the cables are pre-assembled. I did have one issue with the bike. The front disk brake did not work. I did not want to go through the process of trying to repack the bike and return it, so I went to my local bike shop and they were able to repair the brake for $26. The brake was not assembled correctly at the factory. He was able to pull it apart, put it back together correct and it works fine now. This was probably an anomaly. He also adjusted the cable tension for both front and back brakes. So far I have only road about 10 miles at a time on the bike. The battery was down 1 bar. The 22 to 40 mile range seems reasonable for the amount of power I used on 10 miles. I only have about 20 miles on the bike so far and cannot speak about how well this bike will hold up. Hopefully I can come back and update this review after I get a couple hundred miles on the bike. ... show more

  • Awesome ebike
Ever since my car died the real death, this bike has been my primary transportation. Not easy to do in a small Midwest town. I reviewed e bikes and was afraid I'd have to spend thousands of dollars on a good one (if I could do that I'd probably get another car). Then I came across this one on Amazon and decided to take a chance. I'm very happy I did. This bike is awesome and has enough charge to get me anywhere in my local area. Fast, fun and very reliable so far. Very simple to put together; I was taking out the packing and noticed the setup manual, I put this bike together without needing it. Highly recommended. One note: the first 3 times I rode it I had to go over all the fasteners and re-tighten everything due to break-in. SOP but definitely needed on this one. 5/23/2021 - Updating this review to reflect my experience with a warranty issue. After a couple of months, the battery will no longer fully charge; it always shows 3 green lights and 1 red one. I contacted Ancheer CS and was told the issue would have to be resolved through Amazon; I was also given the email address at Amazon for this. After 3 emails with no response, it looks like I'm going to have to shell out about $100 for a replacement battery. So the fact is that as far as warranty goes, YOU'RE ON YOUR OWN. Hope you have a good local bike shop if you're not the DIY type. ... show more
