Bike was a normal setup, (30 min or so) - charging not so much This is my 6th electric vehicle, 4 scooters (some modified), 2 bikes (both stock) I'm no stranger to electronics During assembly, I plugged the battery to the supplied charger and set it on the countertop After the 30-40 min setup, I went to check the battery charge only to find it way too hot to touch !! I unplugged it from the wall and took it and the battery outside I checked the battery (cool ) then the output voltage on the charger - 54volts - good (but never a green light I used my other ebike (56volt - 2a) - started out red light, then after 15min green So I went for a ride, liked the way it performed - Charger not so much - Crazy hot I'm 75yr s old 6-2, 185lbs retired mechanic, electric tech Beware of 1st time startup with chargers Greg ... show more

I was pleasantly surprised by this bike. I'm not really a bike guy but this vehicle has a quality appearance and just looks good. After riding ~10 miles I'm very happy with the performance. On slight inclines it's like it wants you to up the power.
