This worked great for my snow bird costume. I added a feather skirt and shoulder pieces to it. However as a stand alone dress I'd have to go a size up (large to XL) to fit my hips better. I am pear shaped so the bottom looked horrible on me, which was fine since I covered it for my costume. This material is cheap and very very thin. The white dress is see through, Which is a problem. But for costume purposes it worked great, I wouldn't see myself wearing this dress as is due to the tight fit across my hips and thighs.

This is a very pretty dress. I am 5'5, 40D, 210 lbs, and I ordered an XL. The straps are adjustable and the sheer part under the bust is cute. You get minimal support with the straps. The top of the back is also sheer so you really can't wear a bra with it. However, you can wear a shaper underneath, even if it comes up to the bust. I wore a shaper with mine and you couldn't tell that it was part of the dress in the back. It does rise A LOT when you sit down and I was constantly pulling it down all night. If your measurements are larger than mine or if your weight is distributed differently, I would recommend the 2XL. The underlay is white, bright white along with the stitching which is why I deducted one star. I expected the underlay to be nude and the stitching to be black. There's some stretch to the dress, but it won't shape you that good (which is why I wore my shaper with it). Overall, its very cute and I would recommend it if you need a cute cocktail dress.

This dress is nice. Ladies if you're curvy, and wear sizes 14/16. I'm 5'2", 226 lbs. Get the 2X pls!! I did purchase the 1x, was a little snug. Returned and got the 2x, nice comfortable with stretch. Material is so soft. Doesn't look tight!! Can't wait to wear my new dress!! Be careful, the zipper and lace is delicate, material is so smooth! And you'll have to pull the dress down due to rising(material is so soft), from the bottom. So it's important to get the correct size.

I absolutely love this dress. I am 185 pounds with 40DDD breasts. I am proportionate with curves, and ordered an XXL after reading reviews (wanted to be on the safe side). I definitely should have ordered an XL as this dress fit more loose than I wanted it to. I was more worried about my boobs not fitting, than my body. But it does have a little stretch to it which I should have considered when ordering the size. The material is good quality, but maybe use a slip underneath as it is a little sheer. Definitely recommend buying your usual size. This dress was so beautiful (wore it to a wedding) even with the loose fit, and I would totally recommend it!

I ordered the white dress in 2X (I'm 5'2", 198 lbs) but when it arrived it was so tight that, even with the stretchy fabric, I broke the zipper trying to put it on. Fortunately, I was able to have a tailor replace the zipper and add an inch and a half of lace to each side of the dress so that I could wear it. It fits like a dream now, so ultimately I don't regret buying it, but I would recommend ordering at least one size up if possible.

It's a beautiful and classy dress. My husband loves it on me so much, we bought the red one as well. I will wear it in the "Diner en Blanc" event we're attending. The short inner lining is above my knee and the sheer longer piece outside is quite provocative that shows the legs yet covers them up at the same time acting a a silhouette. I don't usually purchase dresses from Amazon, but I'm very impressed. I am 5'2' - 105 lbs. and the small fits me beautifully showing off my figure.
