Some light assembly required. My first ebike. Love it. Over 350 miles on the first month. One flat tire but no real problems to report. Averaging 35 miles per ride and still haven't run the battery to empty. In pedal assist there is more battery power than I can use in a ride. On the bad side: The seat is uncomfortable, buy a seat pad. The handle bars need to raise higher for us taller people. Lack of rear suspension makes it not optimum for off road trail. I highly recommend this for a first time ebiker. There are fancier ones out there but not at this price. This bike got me riding again at age 60 and I love it! 700 miles in 2 months. Some issues came up but still going strong. Issues: 1. The seat took some getting used to. I bought a gel cover and adjusted the pitch for my comfort. It's better but I think I'm going to get an after market seat. 2. The steering arm started to develop a shimmy. Re-tightened the steering column bolt. 3.The pedal assist stopped. The throttle still worked so this wasn't earth shattering. I included a picture of the issue above. Ultimately I bought a pedal crank arm removal tool. Per Jane at Ancheer, I removed the arm and re-seated the sensor correctly. That solved part of the problem. Even though the fix was providing power, PAS mode was flaky and seemed to go in and out when I hit bumps. Still no issues with throttle. I traced the cable from the pedal sensor into the computer box and found 2 wires ( black & blue ) pulling out from the connector. The other cables all had a dollop of silicone sealant on them to help prevent this. Re-inserted the two wires. I am now back joyfully scooting around the river bottom. 4. Brakes are wearing out. Ancheer does not have replacement pads and I haven't found replacement pads that are a good fit. May upgrade the calipers to a U.S. brand. All said, I still find this bike a great deal of fun and think it is a good value for the price. Top speed in PAS-23mph To speed in throttle-22mph Longest ride to date- 35 miles, the bike still had power but I didn't.

Package arrived about a week early. It was well packaged and removing the protective wrap took almost as long as final assembly. It appears to be well built and has the best welds I’ve seen on a bicycle. Final assembly is very easy and straight forward. The only issue I had was the stem wasn’t oriented to the forks correctly. Fixing this issue involved loosening 2 bolts, spinning the stem 180 degrees and retightening the bolts. Total time-about 60 seconds. Other than that everything fit together precisely and easily. I’ve only ridden the bike a few times, but have been very pleased so far. It’s quick, quiet, and shifts gears very smoothly. Honestly, at this point I’m trying to find things to nit pick about it, but can’t find any. I would absolutely recommend this bike!

I wanted to wait a little while to write this review. Overall, I like my purchase. I have had a few issues that I was able to take care of on my own but the average buyer may have some trouble doing. 1) The derailleurs and brakes needed some adjustment once assembled. (not difficult if you have a bike stand.) 2) More of an issue. I noticed that the front bottom bracket would squeak when pedaling under tension and just didn't quite feel right when pedaling. This issue got worse and worse over time. With around 200 miles on the bike the issue was really bad and needed to addressed. I found that the bottom bracket was defective and needed to be replaced. This required special tools that I had to purchase. This involves removing the crank arms and front sprocket along with removing and replacing the sealed bottom bracket which houses the bearing for the front sprocket. Not sure what a bike shop would charge but this has to with the mechanical workings of the bike and nothing to do with the electronics. I've heard that a lot of bike shops don't want to touch these E bikes because they were purchased online. Anyway, I contacted the seller and they are going to reimburse me the cost of the new bottom bracket $20.00. Not a big deal to change but for someone who is not mechanically inclined this could be especially frustrating if local bike shops won't help. On to more positive comments the battery has exceeded my expectations. I bought the bike to help go longer distances using pedal assist. This works great, I can do 40 miles on pedal assist before recharging the batteries. I rarely use the throttle but tried it out and the bike will do 20+ mph with ease. I normally ride rail trails and they are mostly flat so the battery should last longer on these trails. The bike is heavy and does really well on the trails that can be bumpy in areas. I hope this helps with anyone looking into buying this bike.
