Purolite Economical Softener Refurbishing
I used this resin in my dual tank Kinetico softener that was in use in my home for 30+ years. I also purchased one of the large funnels to pour the resin into the tanks. The resin is moist in the bags and can be scooped out easily. I have tested my water a number of times since replacing the resin and see that it is doing the job well. Bottom Line: Way better than buying a new softener.

Purolite Resin Change Restored Capacity
I had replaced the resin in my water softener several years ago with off brand resin. It didn't really seem to restore the capacity of my system, so thought I had other problems. Recently capacity was dropping significantly, and I needed to do something, so I decided to replace the resin with brand name resin. Seems Purolite is the industry standard and I found a good price for it, so I went with it. Very glad I did. Water softener capacity seems to be back where it was when it was new. I saw some reviews saying replacing resin is not going to improve anything. Not the case for me. New resin was just what I needed, and Purolite was a great choice.

Works best
Second time I bought this. Last time was 7 years ago which is how long it will last depending on your water hardness. Do not forget to buy the gravel, my system requires 3/4 CUFT or resin and 15 pounds of gravel. Remember to wash gravel until clear. Bought gravel local since it is 4 X the money on Amazon. Hughes, Ferguson, Win Supply. HD , ACE or Lowes does not carry it. For $135.00 total, (resin & gravel) , My softener is like new. Much cheaper than buying a who new system for $950.00. Good for another 7 years.

Good product
It’s pretty good stuff, but it isn’t quite strong enough for me. My PPM’s of iron are high would recommend. something with a 10% cross-link for anybody wondering this stuff works, but it doesn’t work as good as it should.

Make sure you don't spill it
About half the price of getting it from a local store, and 1/4 the price doing the whole resin change-out myself. Get the big blue funnel!!!

Works like new. The process is horrible. I have a 2 tank system and took me about 6 hours.
