I got the snow white version and it looks very clean and modern on my counter. The quality feels solid, and it’s surprisingly quiet when brewing. ***update*** I didn't know I would return here after three days of use. It stopped working. Whether I get a replacement or not, I still have to pack it back up and return it. **Old review** At the time of my purchase, there was no review that wasn't a Vine review and everyone says how great the tamper was, without mentioning the functionality or performance of the machine, how it compares to other machines that they've used. I have been a Keurig person since I only need one serving of coffee a day. I have read about espresso, but was intimidated to buy real machine, that was expensive years ago. I recently found that there are many inexpensive options available on Amazon to get me started. Although I got no useful information from the reviews, I bought it because of the affordability. As a first time espresso maker, it is easy to use and I made my very first espresso with crema on top. The instructions are clear. I think this unit is a good starting point for a non-coffee snob. It has all you need to make all kinds of espresso drinks at home. For someone serious about espresso making, I would be very disappointed with the many plastic parts and the machine is lighter in weight, which I have to hold on to the machine while the other hand load and unload the portafilter. AND I did not get the legendary fancy tamper! The only thing I don't like is that there's no valve at the sprout at the bottom of the water tank, i.e. you cannot lift the tank away when there is still water inside. I'll update on my experience when I make tweaks to my coffee making skills and quality of beans and grinds and stuff to see if it makes a difference.
