I just received my bike today, it was relatively easy to assemble. The battery was fully charged when I got it so I decided to go out and take a ride. I’m very pleased with the performance. This is a great tool for me to get back-and-forth to my Health Club, which is a couple miles away. I also believe this will be a nice tool for some of those quick runs to the grocery store. Since all of these destinations, I can stay on the sidewalks and stay away from car traffic. I feel an awful lot more comfortable, not being in car traffic. I looked at a lot of different bikes, and I’m very pleased that I bought this one. I also like the large tires that makes me feel a little more comfortable riding the bike. I find it very easy to ride. I read several reviews, that said it’s very easy to get a flat tire on these tires. So I added 8 ounces of tube slime into each tire with the hopes that it will save me from getting some of the flat tires. I have a lot of great things to say about this bike! First off, it's super sturdy and built well. The mechanics work nicely as well, and the bike rides smoothly. I love the dual shock absorbers, so that when I go over bumps and rough spots the impact doesn't hit me as hard. Using the electronic part is super easy as well; it goes almost 29 miles an hour, and the gears are easy to use. I've ridden it in the rain, in sand, and on the road, and the tires are amazing! My only complaint is that it's a bit too tall for me. I'm only 5"3, and I know it said you must be at least 5"4 for this bike, but I just had to get it! ... show more

Bought this bike a few months ago but wanted to give it a thorough testing before posting a review. First thing was it had a flat front tire out of the box. It would go flat overnight after pumping it up. Contacted customer service and they promptly send me out a new inner tube without any issue. The first month of use, frustratingly I would get frequent flat tires. Almost every other use. Turns out the problem was the included tires were just too thin. Just riding over a thorn would cause a puncture so I had to replace both tires with higher quality tires and that fixed that problem. Never a flat tire since and that is why I took a star off the rating. I also replaced the seat right away but only because of personal preference. No problem with the OEM seat, just everyone has a different opinion of what is comfortable to them and I need a big wide padded seat! My only other beef is I wish they offered a way to buy a second battery to bring along on long trips. Now the good stuff: This thing is fun! I'm 235 lbs and this gets me up to about 25 mph or can go about 11 MPH for maximum range. It is stable and comfortable. Assembly was straightforward and no issues. I rode it in Glacier National Park on the Going to the Sun road from Avalanche trailhead to just pass the Loop trailhead just over 12 miles up a fairly steep mountain pass and it got me there fine. (In June, the road is only open to bikes!) Used nearly the entire battery but coming back was all downhill so no problem. That was an extreme torture test of the battery and the brakes and it did well for this large and heavy Mountain eBike. I'm not sure how far it will take me on flat roads but I suspect about 30-40 miles. Overall this has been a good bike and very happy with my purchase. ... show more

My wife bought one more like her mountain bike and I bought this b/c it was more like my motorcycle. I LOVE THIS BIKE! It is sturdy, easy to put together and easy to use - although wish the company would make an unboxing and first ride demo video on youtube. Others have done this and watching will make your first ride EVEN EASIER! We bought these b/c we are going to Zion Nat. Park and will put these on our RV. They rent them there (no cars/motorcycles in canyon) for $100 a day! I paid about $600 total for the bike with delivery and it was a BARGAIN. Saw one at the local campground a guy paid $2k for . . . and he liked mine better! I'm 6' 230 and it works fine for me and the pedal assist is easy and awesome to use. My daughter borrowed moms and her boyfriend borrowed mine to test drive (he is 6'3" and built like a linebacker) and they loved it (20 year-olds).We have already tested on major hills and gravel roads and off-road trails in the area and gone on a "long ride" to test battery life. It is all as advertised. Its quiet and you cannot even tell the pedal assist has kicked in, but you definitely feel the boost. Only draw back -- wish the handlebars had an angle feature but that is just a luxury not really needed. Also, I added a water bottle holder, phone holder and saddle bags for our Zion trip. Easy as pie! Only issue— pedals are poor quality and cracked and broke. After 5 rides. Structurally failed. ... show more
