I purchased these silicone ear muffs to help with sound on my Meta Quest 2 after switching to the Elite strap with battery. Prior to switching head straps, I was very pleased with the sound. After switching, even with volume at max, the sound was really compromised. I don’t understand why that is. After doing some research, I thought I’d give these a try. They work!! What I like is they rest over the ears very lightly - like if you cupped your hands over your ears. I hardly know they are there, and my sound volume is back to where it should be. Installation is pretty simple. With the Elite strap, you just want to be careful when pulling the cord through the silicone muff when attaching. Once on, they stay in place very well. I’m very pleased with this purchase. At the price offered, it’s an excellent and affordable fix if you don’t want to use headphones, and/or add additional cords or wires to your VR experience. ... show more

I have used the original Oculus VR headset that my son owns. It has speakers over your ears and it is a pretty good experience. I bought my Meta Quest 2 and although it has really good visuals the sound was disappointing. Everyone in the room could hear what I heard. I bought the AMVR Silicone Ear Muffs for Meta Quest 2 VR Headset hoping to improve the situation and it has. I don't have to have the sound on as loud, it is more immersive and the room is not eavesdropping on my adventures. Of course they still see me flailing about but I gotta be me. They are also lightweight and easy to install. I bought the red ones because they were half the price of the ones that match the headset. Totally worth it. ... show more

I am hearing impaired and wear two hearing aids prior to getting these I had my Oculus at full volume while using. I play Supernatural fitness mostly. After getting these I can hear clearly!!! Volume is now at 25% instead of 100% and I’m not bothering the whole house when playing now. Highly recommend!!! These work how they are supposed to. They aren’t very comfortable though. The rubber rubs my son’s face and head when he gets sweaty from playing.

Head phones a way better solution than this. But if you can't afford a nice pair this does the job. Feels and sounds like you are using a really nice pair of head phones. I recommend it if you wanna save a few bucks on head phones

One less thing I have to manage before I enter the MetaVerse. Tired of the wires and the added bulk of head phones. Volume level had to be adjusted but using voice commands makes that easy to adjust to which ever VR game or event you're a part of. Less is more and I'm pleased with my Red Ear Muffs.
