The width of the opening makes it super easy for my son to access his lunch without any help from a teacher during lunchtime. The only issue is the zipper sicks but we are hoping it just needs to be used alil more. The side pockets are huge,they fit an icepack and 2 thermo water bottles in 1 pocket and the other pocket holds an extra shirt and small on the go hand wipes..This lunch box is Great for school age kiddos. Very good! I use it at while at work ( I work outdoors) and it keeps my drinks cold and if you put an ice pack or a frozen water bottle, it will keep all drinks colder, longer! I would like to see more colors tho

The size is just right. The 2 side zip pockets are where I keep my keys and phone on 1 side, salt and pepper dressing on the other. It has a large flat bottom so it never tips over.long strap is helpful when you have a lot to carry.
