This is an expensive shampoo, but you don't need to use alot. It lathers well. This is not only effective for dandruff, but also a good shampoo if you have an itchy or sore scalp. I didn’t think it would work to prevent scalp flaking drandruff. But was I surprised, it works “great”. Will use it forever now.

    • I Can Wear Black!
I was having a hard time with my dandruff and this helped a lot. Had none to little dandruff after consistent treatment for two weeks. I wash my hair every two/3 days on an average and for the first two weeks of using I felt and saw results. I would use my own conditioner on the ends of my hair to make it soft and also to balance the “medicine” smell of the shampoo. On washed and dry hair the smell is not so obvious- but from the container and when using it is obvious- but worth it to be able to wear black and be confident about not having a snowstorm on your shoulders or back! Be mindful that on colored/treated hair the shampoo does shorten the strength of the color/treatment. I would use the shampoo two weeks after treatment if you average a monthly “touch-up”. ... show more
