Seller shipped promptly. The fire pit arrived in four days! It is heavy (150 lbs.) and ships strapped to a pallet. It is a "driveway" delivery but the truck driver was kind enough to use his electric pallet jack and power it up my short but steep driveway and into the garage. I bought him a couple of cold ones. I was by myself on getting it moved to the back yard. I slid the box off the pallet and used a hand truck for that. After cutting open the box and removing all the packing the unit weighed a lot less. Two men could carry it fairly easily. I ordered the natural gas version and the pit arrived completely setup for natural gas. I did not have to convert it from LPG. There is a length of gas hose attached and included quick connect adapter to connect to your gas line. All that was needed to complete the install was some thread sealant to screw the quick connect on to the gas line. There is a round notch on the bottom of the pit to run the gas hose through, (if needed). I was pleasantly surprised that the color is much darker than what I expected. I thought it would be a "concrete gray" but it is several shades darker. The included glass wind screen is a nice bonus. It also includes a jar of color matched, powdered grout for repairing the pit if you should happen to gouge it. Though that seems unlikely to happen, it's a nice touch. It comes with lava rock but my sweetie wanted glass chunks instead. She wanted the larger sized 1/2 inch chunks and ordered 40 lbs. Which was exactly double what we needed, lol. The flames are nice and I didn't need to make any adjustments to get the proper flame size and color. The lid is just a flat sheet of stainless steel with a handle that sits directly on the top of the concrete body of the pit. It does not have folded edges or fit down into the fire pan. It is bigger than the glass wind screen so either you must remove the screen or just place the lid on top of the screen. All in all, I'm rating this a solid value on appearance, function, ease of installation and included extras. (The glass wind screen is a 200 dollar option on the other fire pits I was looking at.)

I absolutely love this firepit. Feels very high quality and worth the money. The concrete finish is great and it comes with everything you need, wind cover, pit cover, etc. The tank cover is also very nice and matches the pit perfectly. Highly recommend!

The end product once set up looks really elegant and expensive. I had to purchase a few things based on our needs: 1. Male connector since the hose wouldnt connect to our natural gas connector. 2. The existing hose is approx 8ft long but we got a 24ft to run it along the house walls for a cleaner look. 3. Blue glass stones 30lb In addition we got help from handyman for connection. The end product is amazing and provides sufficient warmth!

This came well packaged on a pallet and easy to setup. We bought the natural gas and it came with a high quality quick disconnect. It is needed as we remove the rug for winter and need to disconnect the fire table. The glass is nice and sturdy. It is effective and still puts off a good amount of heat. The only improvement I would suggest is an option to select broken glass instead of the lava rock.

Looking forward to chilly nights to cozy up to this Albany Firepit. Product came with a glass windscreen, two bags of fire rocks, cover, connection kit, and exterior touch up kit. Product is quite heavy, needed two people to move it into place. The firepit material is of good quality and durable. Color as selected matched patio furniture and space, very happy with this firepit purchase.
