It's made from durable stoneware that's chip and crack resistant, dishwasher and microwave safe, as well s scratch resistant. The set includes dinner plates, 4 dessert plates, and 4 bowls. The matte pink finish and light stoneware design give the set a modern and stylish look that will complement any kitchen or dining room. I've noticed that the color of the matte pink finish can vary slightly from plate to plate. Although dishwasher safe- I'd recommend using a gentle cycle to preserve the matte finish. I'd also avoid using abrasives or scouring pads when cleaning. I kinda like this as it gives it a more hand-made look and appeal to them. These plates are so amazingly cute. It’s not even funny. They are pink and my every day perfect set of dishes. I keep these for myself, and I let my husband eat off of the other dishes. These just make me happy every time I use them. They wash very easily dry easily and I haven’t had anything that shit or feels weird now. I used to think having one set of dishes in one pattern was thee best way to go. As I have gotten older, I have found that I love having an array of colors and styles for different occasions. These dishes are a very light pink and are perfect to add a slight amount of color to the table. The dishes are all decent sizes and can be doubled as serving platters as well. These are microwave and dishwasher safe and quite sturdy, heavy dishes. They are well made. The finish is very smooth. I absolutely love the color.
