The AMOLEN Silk Shiny Red Gold Gradient Filament has completely elevated my 3D printing projects. This 1.75mm filament in the captivating red gold gradient is a true gem for any enthusiast or professional. The color transition in this filament is absolutely mesmerizing. It creates a stunning gradient effect that adds a touch of elegance and uniqueness to my prints. The red and gold tones blend seamlessly, resulting in a finish that catches the light beautifully. It's a showstopper for artistic and decorative prints. Printing with this filament has been an absolute pleasure. • Amolen Filament is Top Tier
Size: 1KG Color: Silk Silver Grey
THIS... Is amolen branded PLA and I can honestly speak on behalf of almost every single color and dual color they have to offer. Amolen is one of the top filament brands that I have come across that really doesn't charge an arm and a leg. Is this filament more expensive than the easy go-to $15 rolls? Yes. That being said, the final product is unparalleled. If you are new to 3D printing then please take my advice and don't cheap out on the filament that you use, and the temp guide that comes with amolen PLA is pretty good as well. The wood filament is always between 20 and 30% real wood and I can actually sand and stain my products as well. If you are having stringing issues just do retraction 2mm for direct drive or 5-6mm for non-direct drive and that pretty much solved my issues on the wood filament (and a good general rule of thumb). As for the dual-color filament, it is super cool but something that has a learning curve. A gyoid pattern can cause the filament to spin on the spool somewhat and mess up the pattern on your print, but as far as the actual filament it is some of the easiest to print with without tangles. Amolen has quickly become one of the brands that I trust to deliver consistent prints without clogs, even on the Silk PLA I never have a clog which is the one that I usually clog on. Amolen also always has really good deals to go with their filaments and offers several color and material types (even TPU!) so you can rest assured that you have a trusted filament brand for most of your printing demands. ... show more

  • Beautiful colors.
Size: 1KG Color: 1kg-silk Gradient Black Red Gold
This filament is very beautiful and great. I dried this for 8 hrs before use then printed with it at 230 C. All the prints came out perfectly. I have had 0 issues with it. Definitely will be purchasing more to make more beautiful prints. If you are having issues with it I suggest drying it or slowing down your print speeds/ raising the temps. ... show more

  • Good value for sample materials
I bought this sample pack to test out AMOLEN's products. I've printed a few parts with each sample spool. I used the same bed temperature for each spool, 65C initial layer, 60C for the rest of the print. Winding was good except for the marble, and that was only for some outer windings. Silk Copper: This was my most successful of the four sample materials. I printed a temperature tower, small keychain for my wife and a T-Rex skull. I used a print temperature of 200C for the keychain and skull. Adhesion was great and the parts came off with small amount of effort after the bed cooled. I printed at 0.12mm layer thickness for the skull and it looks amazing! I used 0.2mm layer height for the keychain and tower and they're both smooth with no defects. You'll see some stringing in the temp tower and skull, this might be remedied with some print settings. Silk Gold: This was by far my most difficult material. I tried printing at 200C with 0.3mm nozzle but after about 30 layers it would clog up. I switched to a 0.4mm nozzle and it lasted a little longer. I ended up printing a temp tower after trying IronMan four times. I made some adjustments and semi-successfully printed Iron Man the fifth time. He was still really stringy and the detail wasn't that great, this could be due to scaling it too small. I ended up using a print temp of 215C. This filament was pretty brittle compared to the other three and snapped on me once while switching it out. Marble-like: I didn't have too many issues with this material. I printed a test cube and Minas Tirith (a city from Lord of The Rings) at 200C and it behaved well, but there was quite a bit of stringing on the city that I had to clean up. Otherwise, the part looks great! The spool was wound pretty bad for the outer windings and bound up a bit as the city printed. The inner windings look better though. Glow in the dark: This was the most fun to print with so far. I printed Zero from Nightmare Before Christmas for my daughter. The nose and collar were printed from orange and red PLA. I printed the glow in the dark at 200C and it was REALLY stringy. I super glued the parts together (Gorilla Glue brand) and they stick together great. The material glows really well, especially if it gets direct sunlight. ... show more
