I must start by saying that I am a huge fan of all things Brickell. Before I specifically review this cologne, I have to give kudos to the company as a whole…if you are looking for high quality masculine products with unadulterated, natural and organic ingredients free of all the nasty chemicals found in comparable products - this is the company! Having that said, this cologne is fantastic. Scent: Having used a myriad of different colognes my entire life (ranging from prices far cheaper to far more expensive), I can honestly say this has my favorite smell of any other cologne I’ve ever used or owned. The smell emanates masculinity (no, not sweat and an overdue shower). It has a woodsy scent with a subtle hint of [manly] herbs. If Leonidas and Maximus had a smell (after they cleaned up from a long day of manliness), this would surely be it. Ingredients: For me, this is what initially caught my interest with Brickell products in general. As aforementioned, all of their products have clean, natural and organic ingredients, free of chemicals; this cologne is no exception. I perhaps tend towards the neurotic side when it comes to avoiding the use and consumption of chemicals. Whether this is a priority to you or not, it is reassuring to know that when you wear this cologne, your loved ones around you (my infant when I hold him, for example) won’t be breathing in chemicals from your cologne. Container: I’m sure this is low on the priority list for most interested parties, but there’s nothing more frustrating than spending money on cologne and receiving a bottle and spray apparatus that feels like it was manufactured from recycled water bottles in Taiwan. This container is solid, classy looking and delivers a strong, quality payload - eliminating the need for multiple sprays. Price: The price is more expensive than cheap, lower-shelf colognes, but not quite as expensive as the big name, higher tier colognes. “Is it worth it?” you might be asking…well, in my opinion, the scent is comparable, if not better, than most of the $100+ products…and that’s with all natural ingredients! So to answer your question, I would answer, “Hell yes it is.” In summary, this cologne has great ingredients free of chemicals; it has a balanced, masculine scent; the bottle is both sleek and functional; the price is extremely fair for the product you get. This is my go-to cologne that I can feel good about using around my infant and has received a strong approval rating from my wife. I highly recommend!

I like the idea of colognes, but I don't frequently wear them due to the punch-you-in-the-face quality nearly all of them have. If I'm going out, I want to have a complex and masculine scent that is subtle but still noticeable - I don't want to smell like I've just crawled out of a hot chemical bath. Thankfully, this cologne excels at being nuanced and subtle while still having the strength to help you stand out. It acts like a perfect wingman should - it gets out of the way and lifts you up. The scent itself is fantastic. Very masculine without being at all harsh. I was a little hesitant about trying this because one of the first scents they list is anise, which I am not at all a fan of. And while you can pick up on the anise - particularly if you know to smell for it - it does a fantastic job at enhancing the more pronounced cedar aroma. There are some fresh minty and slightly floral qualities rounding the whole thing out. The scent only gets better from there. After a few hours it mellows out beautifully, taking on a vanilla quality and getting just a tiny bit sweeter smelling. It's definitely a compliment magnet. Like every cologne, it can weaken a bit over an extended period. But again - going back to the best thing about this cologne - since it doesn't have any harsh or overpowering chemical scents, you can safely take a refresher spray or two and not have to worry about burning out the eyes and noses of everyone around you. The most important thing about a cologne, I think, is how it makes you feel, and this oozes masculinity and cool confidence. Think Steve McQueen or Lee Marvin. That's a hard feeling to beat. So, if you want your cologne to scream 'NOTICE ME', this probably isn't for you. If you're looking for a cologne that makes other people want you to notice them, this could be what you're after.

The scent is nice, but it does not stay on very long and is not very strong. The bottle is nice but the spray doesn't work sometimes. A bit expensive for the size but still a good scent and worth it for short trips.

This company makes excellent products at very reasonable prices. Eminent is no exception. The scent combo is pretty unique and caught my interest. Anise and spearmint is just very nice. Along with the cedar and lavender. It's an interesting combo that you can't quite tell which is dominant, but they all mesh well together. My girlfriend really likes it and of course that's a good sign. A few people within smelling distance seemed to give positive vibes as well. I think this scent is very classy, but also casual. Not soft, but not overly "macho". Just a chill summer vibe. It seems to wear of a bit quick, but that might just be the top notes or just me. You can't go wrong with the price, scent or company. Thumbs up!

Nice and fresh. I don’t smell like someone’s grandpa, a bottle of cheap body spray, or like I’m trying to clean someone’s sinuses out. It’s a great out of shower smell for day or night. I really enjoy this one! Lavender and mint are a great combo for when I want to wear a lighter fragrance. My wife and friends all compliment it. My wife has quite a few allergies but this particular fragrance doesn't bother her at all, likely from all the natural essential oils used instead of synthetic ingredients. Can't recommend this one enough.

This scent is very unique and by far my favorite. I ordered another bottle just to keep. Accolade is more powdery and mature and I would Say this one is a mixture of the original Curve cologne and Abercrombie Fierce. Absolutely amazing! 3-4 sprays around my chest area and hours later I can still smell it. I found my new signature scent. Thank you Brickell!
