These lights cast a nice pattern on the ground. Enough light to walk safely around the patio. The battery seems to last all night and is charging well in the day. (Very bright area - Colorado) priced well. Easy to install but if you want to move them, the tip might stay underground.

We live in Florida and the sun usually would deteriorate solar lights within a year. Each year I’d buy from a different company but they would all either quit lighting or deteriorate and look awful. These lights have lasted 2 and a half years and the only reason I gave it 4 stars is the tops where the solar panels are turn chalky and don’t charge the battery as well because I put in new rechargeable batteries when they wouldn’t shine as bright and it didn’t help. Despite the high price, I am ordering new ones since you at least get quality metal that stays looking good. If only they could use glass on the solar panels that you could clean and it not deteriorate it would be 5 stars and probably last for many years. ... show more

It works like new after I replaced the battery. The design for weather proof is sturdy. I bought this item with the other brand. The circuit of other brand rusted and failed after a year. From early this year, I found this item stopped working. I thought it might be the same issue and would dump it. However, when I opened it and the circuit was very clean, I decided to give it a try. It works very well with a new battery and the charge function is still working under spec. I was thinking about replacing this item with low voltage one.
