I bought this a few years ago. I loved it, so I bought the small one as well. I lost all power tonight because of a really bad storm, and I came into my house dark house, and my bedroom was totally lit (in beautiful green) by this lamp. I had to dig out candles and oil lamps for the rest of my rooms. So I got on Amazon to order more of these. It’s just worth it. It’s amazing how bright these are. I’ve had this plugged in since I bought it- I rarely take it off the charger and just use the remote to turn it on or off. It’s the first light I turn on every morning. I’m a teacher- and this just is so soothing for stress. At night, I can even leave it on when I sleep. It doesn’t bother me and again, it’s just such a soothing & comforting light. I’m so grateful for it! I’m going to get them for every room. If I ever lose power- I won’t have to worry about candles. 😊 I love the smaller one too. But I lost the remote for it and the charger. Out of all the lights like this that I tried, this one was the easiest to use. It's very portable. Not much light, but great when you need a dim ambient light that you can move from spot to spot when looking for something. Great that it comes with a charging pad.

I gave 4 stars because I haven't had it long and I'm waiting to see how well it holds up. Other than that , it works great so far. I find it relaxing to have on at my desk when working, or a nice small light on rainy days especially if you don't want to turn on the big ceiling light all day. For the brightest light you will want to put it on just the white light setting. Battery last pretty long so far. It has not had any charging issues so far, which is nice because I often worry about things like this heating up after a while, but so far it has had 0 heat problems. Its light weight, which is nice but also is why I'm watching how long it holds up to use. Thats my general observation based on use so far. First of all, potential purchasers should note that this product is not going to light a room. Not even a small room. So if you are purchasing it for that reason, move on. This light is really more for adding just a touch of light. One potential purpose that immediately springs to mind is for use as a nightlight, either at the bedside or possibly just inside a bathroom door to guide the way in a dark bedroom. I use it in my office, however. At work, I am halfway surrounded by 3 large glowing computer screens, and I have this light connected to one of the USB ports as an additional light source, should I not want overhead lighting on for some reason. The remote on mine works just fine, but you can also tap it on the top of the light for it to come on. It cycles through several colors, from blue to purple to red to orange to green (not in that order). I generally keep it on the plain white light setting, however. There are also timers for 1, 2, 4 and 6 hours and the ability to flash or fade. The footprint of this light is a little larger than a soda can so it can fit about anywhere. All in all, a nice little auxiliary light. Personally, I think it was worth the money for my purposes. ... show more

Works great for a night light. The touch (to turn it on) is a little inconsistent, but it's not that big of a deal.
