Very happy with the engineering and the quality of this product. It was a perfect fit for a multipurpose room and blends in quite well. I have put together many pieces of furniture and the instructions were the best I've seen. I does take a while to assemble(my wife and I did it in about 2 hours after organizing all the parts/pieces), but that's a small price to pay for the value. The bed is heavy in total. If you have to assemble it on a different level from where it was brought into the house, I highly suggest breaking it down and taking several trips. You'll thank me later. The finish is on the fragile side, it won't hold up to abuse, but it is good for our purposes and will last if treated well. Be careful to not hit the edges sharply, it will chip. My only suggestion for improvement would be to make it possible to install the supplied outlet on either side of the bed. This could be accomplished by simply cutting a hole on both side panels to give us a choice and then include a filler to cover the hole that isn't used. I am only mentioning this because the way we have it placed, it is too tight to a side wall and makes the outlet unusable, not a big deal, but this option would have made it close to perfect. The bed arrived in two different deliveries as stated, sadly, one piece was damaged buy the shipper, NOT the seller. The seller was extremely easy to deal with, communicated quickly and resolved the issue without delay. I'm happy to praise good customer service, good design, good value and especially good instructions. Well done.

I love this bed. It is beautiful and functional. This is the perfect addition to our office/guest room. The bed arrived very well packaged. I will say though that the boxes are very heavy even for two older people, so just know if you are alone you will more than likely need help to move the boxes. This murphy bed was a little time consuming but easy to put together. It probably took us roughly 4 hours to put it together going slowly and reading the directions, which were clear and easy to follow. There is also a video in this comment section if you need additional help. The slides pull out easily when rolling the bed in and out. There isn't anything about this that I don't like. Every screw hole and anchor hole was drilled precisely in the spot it needed to be. We were given enough hardware to accommodate everything. All in all I would definitely recommend this bed to anyone looking for a murphy bed to save on space. I bought a 6" trifold mattress that was recommended by one of the other readers which proves to be very comfortable and good quality as well.

Good Murphy bed with some pros and cons. When its all set up, it looks very nice both opened and closed. Set-up isn't the easiest. We ended up with one broken part that we had to buy a replacement for - the set up took a pretty long time and was extended across a couple weekends waiting for the one piece (one of the drawer sliders). We purchased a 4" trifold mattress to use with this bed and found that arrangement to be incredibly uncomfortable (unless you like sleeping on what feels like a hard concrete floor). The solution - we then purchased a 4" memory foam/gel mattress topper to put on top of the 4" mattress. Still firm, but much more comfortable. Not sure how it will all fit folded up - the mattress topper may move to our bed when not in use. Overall good product at a great price point.

Super fasted delivery. Two long boxes, extra packing material, arrived in perfect condition. Very easy to assemble, power drill, screw driver and flathead. Took 2 people about 3 1/2 hours. Everything fit perfectly. Looks fantastic, seems sturdy. We are excited to see how useful it is.

Wow!! Where do I start? It comes in two boxes. Each box has an inventory list.. each item has a number or letter. Really easy to follow (I have never seen this from something made in China). The boxes are very very heavy and so are the larger boards. The product seems to be very well made and solid. Directions are easy to follow, I took my time and double checked everything. It took about 5 hours. The directions have you put things together in order so that you are not having to flip things over too much for the next step. The backing is actually thick and they even provide wedges so that it will not pop out should it be pushed on too much by the mattress. Another thing I have not witnessed before. The rails work great and slide together perfectly, again I took extra special care here attaching them. I ordered a 6” trifold mattress to go inside and there is plenty of room for it. It looks beautiful in my room. I am incredibly impressed with this item and would order again should I ever need one. Thank you.

Absolutely fabulous. I’m almost 50 years old and was able to put together by myself. I had some help when installing the drawers as noted in instructions only because it did make it easier. Instructions were great but one of the screw labels was mislabeled and was short on a couple of wooden dows. It looks fabulous and is so easy to fold and function as described. The storage drawer holds all of the bedding needed except pillows. Absolutely recommend just be sure to buy a good tri-fold mattress separately that also easily fits into the space.

It took some time to assemble, but it is solid and good looking. There seems to be room for the 6 inch mattress, I got the 4 inch and it's comfortable but there's extra room for a thicker mattress. All of the bedding fits into the bottom drawer.
