The media could not be loaded. I’m honestly so happy and shocked by this bed frame. I was pretty hesitant purchasing something with no reviews. So I wanted to make sure that I wrote a product review so that people would know what they were getting themselves into. Let me just say I am blown away by the quality of this bed. It is an incredibly solid piece. Installation was fairly easy, I put it together by myself. However it is very heavy! And the parts and pieces don’t come labeled. So if you haven’t put together furniture like this before, this might overwhelm you. The pieces weren’t correctly labeled like the instructions had them however it was still very easy to figure out how to put the bed together. Overall very impressed especially at this price point. I actually replaced a very well made expensive bed that I had for years. This is not as heaving or of the same caliber but I do not regret my purchase. It is lovely, easier to move and stately looking. It says solid wood but so was my last bed but definitely not heavy like solid wood beds made years ago. The other reviews are accurate, except for the first one. I wish I read the most recent ones before purchasing. However, during installation, I did read one review that said that the screws don’t align. Therefore, my husband and I understood our frustration was warranted. The part where it shows part 4&5, does not align properly. We had to screw new holes. Luckily, my husband was able to figure it out. This is a beautiful piece. It really makes a nice statement to the bedroom. However, it was not easy to install. You definitely can not do it on your own, it is way too heavy. You need to know what you’re doing, this is not for starters as the parts are not all labeled and the instructions are difficult to follow. It is doable if you have patience and experience. The bed is absolutely stunning, however my husband had to modify it while putting it together. A lot of the pre-drilled holes did not line up and he had to drill new ones. It was like some pieces went to a completely different bed because the pre-drilled holes were so far off. I would not have been able to put it together without my husband knowing how to drill new holes properly. It was a nightmare to put together. Also the packaging made a small permanent indention in the fabric on the headboard. The silicone packets in the box were pressed hard against the fabric and left a dip in the padding. I would have sent the whole bed back if it wasn’t such a bulky and heavy delivery. ... show more
