I can honestly say, I like the foundation powder because it is E.L.F., and I really like the price. Unfortunately, I have adult acne - so, coverage is important to me along with a matte finish since I have oily skin. This does cover really well, and it does leave a matte finish for most of the day. I usually have to pat down my face after 6 hours of wear, but I never have to reapply (which is really nice). I also find that this does NOT break me out. I have hormonal acne. Other than that, I will continue to buy! Hope this helps future buyers!

I haven't picked up a foundation generally in several years now, but since I've been struggling with some skin issues as of late I had the desire to add a bit of coverage on days where I feel like I really need it. At first I was really impressed with the overall coverage and lightweight feeling of this foundation, and it has a creamier texture as well as opposed to being chalky. The finish is okay, not 100% the best I've tried but it's fine for the money as I didn't feel like splurging on something else currently. But the unfortunately worst aspect of this foundation is the lasting power. I set my face really well with setting spray, but that doesn't seem to prevent this foundation from breaking up on the lower half of my face for some reason. It looks pretty badly textured by the end of the day and I am a little too eager to get home to take off my makeup. I've only had this powder for a few days as of this review and I fully intent to keep trying some different product combinations to see if I can get this to work better, but my expectations aren't exactly high. I want this to work because I enjoy elf products and it's a very affordable foundation, but I'd probably pass on this one in the future and not repurchase even if I continue to use it for the time being.

This is a great powder foundation, I would say its buildable-full coverage and leaves your skin with a satin finish. However I keep buying the ring shade!! Lol, first one I bought was too dark, I go up one and now it’s too light! I would recommend finding the correct shade in a store first and then buying it on Amazon when you run out and KNOW your exact shade!

This is the best powder I’ve had in a long time, and so cheap for how good it is! There are a lot of shades and it builds beautifully. Much more coverage than other name-brand powders I used to use. One downside: the package isn’t great, so even though it’s pressed powder, the powder comes loose a little bit and seeps through the cracks. I keep mine in a ziplock, which works, but obviously not ideal.
