We’ve had this dining set for about a month now, and here’s my honest review. PROS: •Dining set looks really nice (looks expensive) from far away/another room. •Bang for your buck - very cost effective compared to furniture stores •Fabric on seats is fairly easy to clean with a spot treatment spray in case of spills CONS: •Lots of assembly required - this took my husband two days to get all parts assembled •The “wood” chips and stains VERY easily. One section of the tabletop and the bottom of one of the chairs actually ARRIVED chipped (see photos). The edges of the table have already started to chip away, and there’s only two adults living in our house (no kids). So fair warning if you have children. •The tabletop is NOT waterproof. We learned very quickly that drinks will leave water rings on the table within a couple hours of being on the table. We now use coasters on the table. It would’ve been nice for the table top to be treated better for water protection prior to shipping. OVERALL: This set looks nice and is relatively inexpensive compared to other high-end sets that look similar. Don’t expect it to hold up very long if you have pets or children - we’re already noticing wear and tear after a month of just my husband and I using it carefully. Chips, scratches, stains, etc. happen easily, so be prepared for that. ... show more

Junk not solid wood. It is press board. All of it except for the legs are press board. Solid junk is what this is. Also the top is 3 pieces so gaps in the table top.
