When the box arrived, we unpacked the pieces and both side pieces (the ones with the cross beams) were damaged. In addition, we plugged the heating unit in, and it make a ticking sound. Called customer service - gave them the part numbers and mentioned the ticking, and they said they'd ship replacement ones right away. Within 4 business days, the new parts and a new heating element had arrived - they also sent a return invoice for the defective heating unit, so we could send it back. Overall, we were very impressed with the customer service. Like others have said, it took quite a while to put together, but it looks gorgeous and looks much more expensive than the $219 we paid for it. The blower works well, and the remote is easy to use. We haven't used the timer on it yet, but it's a nice feature. We have a 42 inch TV on it, but it appears sturdy enough to hold a much larger one. I'd highly recommend this unit. ... show more

Just as pictured, beautiful! I absolutely love it! Takes the chill out of the air in minutes. And the fire is so beautiful. Easy to put together. Took me roughly 2.5 hrs. Best purchase I've made in years. You won't regret purchasing.

Great product for the price. You get what you pay for and we don’t expect this to last forever but for the price it is well worth it! It puts off a good amount of heat and looks great. Assembly was difficult as some screws were bent and the holes didn’t line up as they should.

This is beautiful. This took two savvy people 3 hours to put together. Cons: The wood is cheap. Very cheap and weak. It can break easily so you have to be careful when putting together. We have one side that didn't quite go together tightly. Not sure why. The bottom where the fireplace insert sits bows a little. The natural color is a little more gray than I thought it would be. my husband tried to remove the sticker off the top and the laminate came off with the sticker. We placed the sticker back on to hide the white spot. For the cost I expected the quality to be a little higher. The little remote came with batteries but they were corroded and they leaked all over the remote. I have not found away to use the fireplace without the remote. I hope that remote never gets lost. Pros: It's beautiful. It's the perfect size. I chose to mount my tv above it and use the top for pictures and such. The look is cozy and exactly what I was looking for. I chose not to install the cabinet doors so I could place pictures. I like that it has versatile style. The heat output is nice and adequate. The fan is quiet. ... show more

I ordered this for a Christmas present for my mother, at first I was a little scared to put it all together but it was so simple to put together! It is an amazing fireplace and tv stand for the price! Im actually thinking about buying another one for myself. It produces a lot of heat as well. This is a beautiful piece. The quality is much greater than I anticipated given the relatively low price. It took a couple hours or so to assemble. We don't use the heater much because the room it's in has a cathedral ceiling and it doesn't heat the room, but it is nice to stand or sit in front of it to take a chill off. ... show more

Looks nice and the fireplace works great. Just what I needed to supplement my heat in the living room. Make sure to read instructions carefully.     • Pieces came damaged and cheaply made but look good once built. Fireplace itself is excellent.
The reviews were great so I was excited. The top piece of wood came totally peeled and damaged. The remote and batteries came in some super sticky gross stuff and the batteries were somehow completely melted inside the plastic wrapping. The pieces are not high quality and can be damaged easily, much lower quality than a similar fireplace tv stand I just got for my living room. However, I will say once it’s put together it looks really nice and the fireplace looks MUCH more realistic than my other fireplace tv stand. If you can get a good deal on it and get it to come without any damage, it’s worth it. I would have given 5 stars if not for the damaged items. I reached out about it on the website but have not heard back yet. If they can send me replacement pieces I’ll change this to 5 stars because, although not real wood or high quality, once put together it does look really nice and the fire is excellent. If you have the time to take the risk about getting damaged pieces and the price is right, go for it and see if you get lucky. A nice fireplace overall. ... show more
