The media could not be loaded. I didn’t find any real issues with this keyboard. It is awesome. The fact that you can use it on PCs iPads android devices TVs the Xbox and any other device that supports Bluetooth provides much value. The fact that you do not have to carry around cables is awesome. The mouse works flawlessly. The only caveat if you wanna call it that is when use the first time the function keys do not function as function keys rather they function as the picture depicted on the function key. To change this to function as function keys simply press Fn key and the Caps key simultaneously and from that point on the function keys will function as function keys. To use a picture function simply press the Fn key along with the picture key. Or you could also switch it back to the pictures full-time by pressing the caps button and the FN button simultaneously.

I am using this set with a surface book 3. The keyboard and mouse pair seamlessly with it, and I have not experienced any lagging. The set is super functional so far. The mouse is small, but is shaped well. The keyboard keys depress easily and land softly when you type—a very satisfying feel. It is compact and black which looks elegant on a clean desk. The Bluetooth connectivity allows me to use a hardline internet connection with an Ethernet to USB adapter. The surface book has no Ethernet port, and my previous keyboard set would lag because the Ethernet/USB adapter diverts too much power away from the port that fed the old keyboard’s usb receiver. So this set delivers a solid amount of value. What I need now is an ergonomic wrist support pad to go with it.

This set is quite expensive. But they work very well. The build quality is solid, something I expect from Microsoft hardware. But there are some very noticeable annoyances. Keyboard: The keys are quiet, but a bit stiff for me. I am more of touch typing. (Probably b/c this is still new and will soften up after some use.) But it doesn't have an angel adjustment. The keyboard is slightly slopped, but basically just flat on the desk. It looks like to me, the omission of angel adjustment is more of a design decision: that Microsoft wants this one to look slick. But to me, the keyboard is less comfortable for long term use. Mouse: I am surprised to find this one is not a Microsoft signature BlueTrack mouse. And, it is quite small, more of a portable size. And the button click is very loud. The wheel has a very solid feel. I don't think I can recommend this one whole heartedly. Actually, I am not sure I can overcome those annoyances.

None of the tools, videos, experts, or even Windows apps will allow you to disable the lock screen button. Horribly placed near the backspace key, that you will constantly press, locking your screen. If you want to disable the lock screen button, there is only one way to do it. And this is what I had to do after wasting 4 hours on all the expert advice. From the search field, type in regedit. When the reg edit screen comes up, copy the following code into the search field above. Don't worry, it will only take you to the place you need to be. Computer\HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows NT\CurrentVersion\Winlogon Look for the "DisableLockWorkstation" right click on this line, and select the modify option. Now just replace the 0 for a 1, and this will disable the lock screen {windows} + {L} as well as the poorly placed lock screen key located 1/8th of an inch above the backspace button.

The keyboard as well as the mouse is quite comfortable and also both have been very useful for their bluetooth connectivity. I work several days from home and it has been a solution that adapts very well to any bluetooth device such as a laptop or tablet. So far after a few months of use, it works quite well. What I highlight most about the keyboard is the softness and at the same time firmness of the keys that minimizes errors when typing. The mouse is a bit small but not so that it is uncomfortable. It also fully fulfills its purpose.

The bluetooth connectivity is a little wonky. It has a lag in the response (keyboard and Mouse) if they have been sitting idle for a short time. The left mouse click button is very stiff and so sometimes you click on it but nothing happens. And if you click harder, sometimes it double clicks. It is a little annoying...just annoying enough that I decided to return them and try another vendor but I passed my return date window. I will live with them until I can't, and then I'll donate to someone (somebody I don't like so they can be annoyed) and purchase another brand. I guess there are worse things that can happen to you than a wonky mouse and keyboard.

This is the best value keyboard and mouse combo I believe in Amazon, after I received the product, that's true. The keyboard is quite and comfortable, the mouse just works ok. It worth for only $50.
