This subwoofer says it is rated at 1500 watts rms but I do not think it is. I have it hooked with a 15" going into the same place on the amplifier and when I turn it up it cuts out. My other subwoofers are made by CT Sounds. I have a 12" and a 15" Thermo SPL subwoofers I need to get two 10" Mesos to go with it. I know they can handle the output because they are rated the same 1,500 watt rms. ... show more

Dude! I've owned a lot of sub's over 20 years worth and I say " Don't hesitate " I encourage you to give them plenty of box and power. Im currently at 3.5 tuned to around 36 and it freaking slams. Got them paired with a skar 2000.1
