Wow! These subs are absolutely amazing. I had no idea that a shallow sub could sound like this. I am beyond happy. I put 2 of these in my 2000 F250 Crew Cab and they hit unbelievably hard. I haven't even began to turn these up close to the RMS rating and I don't think I will. I have these on a 1 ohm load, in small generic truck style boxes I bought here on Amazon on an amp that produced only 988 watts on the dyno and my gain is only turned up 3/8 of the way!! That means that I am only pushing about 150 watts RMS to each sub and these things are shaking doors and rattling mirrors. I have much more expensive equipment in my other cars and while they don't hit as low and clean as my high end subs, they are amazingly clean for their slim size. This budget build in this truck is just so dang good for the money spent. ... show more

I bought and put in a box I blowed sub in. It fit just right. I was needing a certain depth shallow. This thing hits. I get compliments on my sound alot. And i just run 1 12 inch in my truck. With the right box it fits perfectly under a 08 gmc truck under the seat. Got a 1500 Amp ran thru it. No problems. Have had it over 6mos. Use it daily. I'd buy again!! ... show more

I bought two to replace two blown speakers. Easy fix, replace the subs. Installed them & didn't get any sound, checked all wiring, everything was fine, had proper voltages. Still no go. Installed an old amp, had power, but no go. I finally got around to buying a new amp 8 months later because it's a pain to take everything apart to access equipment. New amp still no sound. I found an old sub & tied it to wiring & it hits just fine. Ended up wasting so much of my time I try not to think about it. Not to forget to mention how much money I paid buying all new components of the system one by one, just to install each to figure out it wasn't the cause. Ran all new wiring & we know how much of a pain it can be disassembling trim. ... show more

Love these subs, got 2 of them In a ported box (12's) these things rattle the whole car rattles with no problem love the shallow mount I would say that they may for some trucks behind the seats. I have a custom box on a scion xb , it's a slim box to use the cargo area still and not just have all box in the back and a waste of space. Got a hifonics brutus gamma bg1900 and it bumps . For being shallow mounts I was very much surprised. Great bang for your buck. ... show more

This thing is GREAT!! Quality materials, and sounds amazing. I didn't know a shallow could sound this good. I should have listened to the other reviews and just stopped looking/researching when picking the right sub for me.. would have saved me alot of time because it all lead me back to this guy.. Sound great in a down firing box, after porting the box they sound even better. I pulled my w7 so I could have my back seat back. No regrets these sub are the best shallow mounts I have ever used.
