This subwoofer was put into a custom built nearly 4 ft.³ enclosure and then placed in the back of a 2004 Mercury Grand Marquis. Powering this beast is a 1500 Watt TopStrongGear mono block amp. To keep it simple, yes. It’s worth every cent. Built like a brick sh!t house and weighs just as much. I would bet money on it that this speaker if properly installed and properly wired to a proper system could put perform anything made by Skar, Hi-phonics, Rockville or or any other of the cheap poor quality china crap brands that Amazon loves to push.
