If you're building or upgrading a high-end gaming PC on AM5, this CPU is hands down the best chip you can buy. Upgraded to this from an older generation, and the performance boost in heavy CPU-bound games is insane. What stands out: Unbeatable FPS & 1% Lows: The extra 3D V-Cache makes games run buttery smooth with basically zero micro-stutters or frame drops. Efficient Performance: Runs surprisingly efficient for how fast it boosts. Paired it with a good liquid cooler and thermal temps have been super manageable under heavy loads. Solid All-Arounder: Great for general multitasking and heavy workloads alongside top-tier gaming performance. If you want absolute peak gaming performance and zero bottlenecks, grab this CPU without hesitating. Easily 5 stars!

Well Amazon is doing the AMD Gaming Rewards Promo and forgot to list it for a game. Well AMD Gaming Rewards does not give the keys out only the etailer/retailer does. Well needless to say support I gave 103 something dollar refund to make up for the game/tax. So the CPU cost me around 380 something a huge discount talk about Value!. The cpu is amazing faster/snappier than my 9800x3d not to mention it runs a lot cooler on a PBO-All Core-Negative-20 than the 9800x3d as well. 40c idle, High 4X-60c Load, 71c at 100-115% load on my EK aio & TG PTM I purchased with it.

The Ryzen 7 9800X3D is an outstanding gaming CPU and has been an absolute pleasure to use. Gaming performance is excellent, with high and consistent frame rates and plenty of headroom for demanding titles. The extra 3D V-Cache really shines in games, and it makes this processor a fantastic choice for anyone building a high-end gaming system. It also handles everyday workloads and multitasking without breaking a sweat, so it isn't limited to gaming alone. Installation and setup were straightforward, and the AM5 platform gives this CPU plenty of room for future upgrades. It also runs impressively well considering the level of performance it provides. Whether you're playing competitive games where high frame rates matter or enjoying more demanding AAA titles, the 9800X3D delivers the kind of performance you expect from a top-tier gaming processor. Overall, I'm extremely happy with the Ryzen 7 9800X3D. It offers an excellent combination of gaming performance, efficiency, and longevity, and it's the kind of CPU that makes the rest of the system feel fast and responsive. If you're putting together a high-end gaming PC and want a processor that can deliver excellent performance without unnecessary compromises, the 9800X3D is an easy five-star recommendation.

This CPU slaps in the best way. It will shred cpu heavy games. It feels like luxury to look at my 400 FPS when running the best performance settings.feels so good when I can run games on max settings and not even fall below 90 fps. If you play Minecraft, expect at least 1000+ fps on vanilla(I still had 300 fps left on heavily modded servers. Totally worth it imo, a nice upgrade.

RECEIVED AN EMPTY BOX! But was promptly refunded and had to buy from elsewhere, but I won't let that affect the rating of the actual product like others do, it's a great CPU (Top 3 best for gaming currently) otherwise no issues I was still on a Ryzen 7 2700x before this, I was only able to upgrad my CPU/Motherboard/and RAM and kept my RTX 2070, and everything else, but those upgrades alone gave me 25-100%+ boost in performance depending on the game and settings absolutely worth it. For example in apex legends I was averaging 130-155 fps depending on factors and with my optimized and preferred video setting but now I'm pretty much locked at 240fps with into 215-220fps same settings, in something like Minecraft I more than Doubled my FPS and every other game just generally run much smoother in terms of feel. Highly recommend!

Amazing processor, runs any AAA game I throw at it, pairs well with my GPU, 5070 TI. No bottleneck, great temps, very happy.

Great processor. I have had no issues. I have a Thermalright 360mm AIO. Temps never go over 75 for gaming. How ever they never go below 50 when idling so make sure you have good cooling as she runs warm at idle.

Paired with Corsair 6k ram and 9070xt, I am getting over 250 fps in battlefield 6. Really happy with this chip . Am5 is getting about 100 fps more than my am 4 systems.
