  • Great CPU, well worth the money
Superb processor for gaming. It runs fast and is easy to cool. Frame rates around 140 to 160 (running a Radeon 7800xt). Well worth the money, and would definitely buy again! Paired it with a Gigabyte X870 Gaming Wifi6 and 64gb of ram.

  • Great Gaming Processor
So I rebuilt my full size gaming pc to a micro atx pc. And this processor is a gaming beast. I gave it an overclock and undervolt and gave it a 360mm aio. Never goes above 60 degrees celcius when in full load. Great purchase and worth your consideration if you have an older processor. Stability and performance is great and power consumption is minimal with the undervolt. ... show more

  • A mega beast! Nothing more to say A mega beast! Nothing more to say
I upgraded from an R5 7600, and this processor is a huge step up. I haven't fully tested it yet, but I can say that for some reason, my system now boots much faster. I have an Asus x870-A motherboard, and with the 7600, it took a long time to get out of the BIOS boot process. With this one, it's significantly faster. Combined with the rest of my components, I can say it's incredibly fast. It arrived well-protected, thanks to the sender for the packaging. Low temperatures stay at 38°C with a Thermalright 360 cooler, and even under heavy load, I haven't seen it reach 70°C. For now, I'm completely satisfied with this product. ... show more

  • Fantastic CPU, Sell your older x3D and get it… Fantastic CPU, Sell your older x3D and get it…
incredible CPU, not necessarily the “best value”…and i wouldn’t have paid full-price, but i sold my 7800x3D for $300 so it was basically a $200 upgrade. what did i get? the boost clock bow goes up to 5.6 Ghz instead of 5.0, better branch prediction, faster clocks but the same basics layout as the 7800, just with the extra cache move closer to the top for better thermal performance. this chip runs just as quietly and dependably as my 7800, never crashes, just does what i ask. content creation, gaming with a 5070 FE, it was a superb upgrade for my am5 asus b850i definitely recommended if you have the cash… if you have a good kit of memory right now, hold on to it. i sold my 64 GB kit and i regret it badly now. this cpu is a winner, for sure. i even returned the 9950x and stick with this single-ccd monster i’m waiting for the zen 6 that’s reported to have 12 and 16 core single ccds ... show more

  • The best gaming cpu you can possibly get. The best gaming cpu you can possibly get.
Well to start off this cpu is an insane upgrade from the 11900k It’s compatible with the rog strix x870 gaming wifi e, but i made sure to update to the latest bios. Performance wise ive gained like at least 3x the frames from my previous cpu and while running slightly warmer under idle, after configuring my fan curve and setting a per core tuning in the curve optimizer, I’ve had average temps go anywhere from 60-70c depending on the game. Personally i would pair this with at least a 360mm aio for the most optimal setup and i always paired it with 6000 mhz cl30 ddr5. I recommend this if you’re cpu bottlenecked like i was in most games and want to perform the best you can in games:-) Make sure to update BIOS/chipsets to prevent the issues that have been happening lately to everyone’s 9000 series CPU’s. I also lowered my vsoc to 1.200 for safety as well. ... show more
