I bought this floor lamp to replace an ugly old. This lamp has a remote and reaches further than my old one. I figured it would fit the aesthetic of my living room and the size of my new couch. Luckily, it looks and works exactly as advertised. I'm quite pleased. The lamp shade is a nice quality. It's really easy to assemble. It's very simplistic, but the texture/grain of the fabric gives it a nice look. The stand is simple, matte black, and thin. It's unobtrusive. The lighting choices are nicer than I expected. They are quite versatile. I was thinking there were just 3, simple options, but there are actually more. I don't need them all, but for anyone who likes to take advantage of the options, it's probably worth it. Personally, I like the brightest, coolest option. I sometimes bead-weave while watching TV and the brightness is great for my needs. At my age, it's necessary to have a little brighter lighting. I recommend this floor lamp. Very good lamp has the a petal bottom to turn on or off, remote and batteries included u can change it to a cool light or warm light with the remote u can adjust brightness or put a baby mode on that dims the light very nice. Easy to assemble took my less than 30 min id say

I’ve only had it a day so I’ll come back and update if there’s any issues, but this went together quickly, it looks beautiful in my home, I love that the head adjusts and I really like the smaller arc. I’ve already ordered a different lamb shade because I believe this one looks too small(it looks bigger in the picture than in real life) for where I have it. I also love that it has remote control. Since I have it behind the couch the step on/off would not have worked for us. There’s always options to buy to make that work, but it’s nice that one is included! Also love the remote has multiple options for dimming, cool, warm, computer, reading etc. unbelievable options. ... show more

Lamp was easy to put together and very well packaged. Looks very nice and do like the foot on and off switch. It also came with a remote and light bulb that only work together so if you replace it yhat feature goes away. Could be taller and have a much better arc for what I need it for.     • Versatile lighting, but the arch has a kink in it...

Pros: * Light control wise, this has to be one of the most versatile lamps, with a wide range of color temperatures and dimmable to boot. * Assembly is super easy. It's basically a metal nunchaku that twist together. * Packing is ingenious as it arrives in a 15 x 15 x 5 inch box. (I was very confused when the status of my new floor lamp was delivered to mail box.) *It's stable. Cons: * Advertisement is slightly misleading. This thing is all metal. There is no wood involved. The fake wood wrap around the shaft is decent quality, so you have to be right up on or have it in an area of intense lighting to really notice it's not wood. My use is in a darkish reading nook corner, so it's fine for purpose. * The arc isn't a perfect arc. The join for the two pieces is dead center of the arch and it is slightly straight. so rather than semicircle, you get a small break in the curve. If you have dreams of graceful silhouette from the side, your dreams will not come true with this lamp. Once again. It works for my purpose because its in a corner. If I set it up with the intent of looking at it from the side, I'd probably return it. * The shade is comically small. I'm going to buy a separate shade for this lamp because the shade is way undersized for this large lamp. Also, it sticks together with velcro so it looks incredibly cheap. ... show more
