Purchased this rug to replace a two yr old high pile shag, as our home was being put up for sale and didn't want anything that may smell like our dog. Bought the 9x12 on deal days for 260. Things to note.. 1- The brown parts are super thin. Like short burber. 2- Packaging was well, rug was not overly heavy and one adult was able to move it 3- Upon unrolling the rug never laid fully flat for the six weeks we had it on the floor. 4- Smells like new carpet, so take that for whatever you would like. 5- Backing does have the plastic stuff on the bottom so I would recommend using with a rug pad if you have hardwood floors and are planning on long term use. 6- DOESN'T hold stain! I accidentally spilled red juice on it in about a two foot area, Came right out with the spray foam carpet cleaner that has the scrub head. We did scrub the top AND the bottom to ensure it didn't stain. 7- Dried pretty quick after that. I would say was dried in about 12 hours. Overall great rug for the price, reason for the point off was it didn't lay flat for me. May have been that I also didn't give it time to settle in the room prior to placing furniture on it?

Rug looks good but after I laid it I noticed that it was full of lumps, ridges whatever you want to call them. . I thought it would flatten out after a day or two. It didn't. I tried heavy books, then damp towels with heavy books and then vacuuming with a heavy vacuum. No luck. I then rolled the rug back so I could see the backing - bingo. The backing was creased in multiple places across the rug in line with the way it was rolled. Apparently at some point something heavy had been placed on top of the rug flattening the rug. I am now dampening the backing and placing heavy objects on it. It will take a great deal of time and effort but I am optimistic. If you encounter the same problem, check the baking. If that is the problem, send it back. It is not worth trying to fix it.

Bought two 8' by 3' matching runners. Received one 8' by 3' runner and one completely different 5' by 7' rug. Both were rolled the WRONG way with the carpet shag to the inside, this breaks the backing in a way that the wrinkles never come out. I'm not going through the pain of trying to repackage 75 lbs of rugs and finding a 6 foot box to return them (the original box was destroyed when I got it). I'm going to give the rugs to good-will, take the tax deduction and NEVER BUY FROM THIS COMPANY AGAIN.

I should of opened it when it arrived, but I waited about a month while my renovations took place. Needless to say when it was unrolled, the toxic stench that rolled off that rug was dizzying. It literally is giving me headaches. Opened windows, turned on fans, vacuumed for over 2 months - we are now first part of January - and it still is emitting toxic fumes. I rolled it up and stuffed it into my closet - perhaps I need to just throw it away. Visually the rug looks fine sans the creases in the rug when I unrolled it. Someone else lamented about their creases - I should of listened. They don't flatten out despite 30 pound boxes being placed for 2 months. Yes it looks nice, Yes it's relatively soft - thought not very. It contains creases that are impossible to correct. Cozy? lol - no. Plush? enh. Yes the color is accurate. But if you can't use it because it's emitting toxic fumes 2 months after being rolled out, then it's worthless. SAVE YOUR MONEY! DO NOT BUY THIS RUG! Go to home depot or some other brick and mortar store and try your luck there - chances are you won't end up with a 180 dollar rug that will asphyxiate you. 1 star is generous...

I just moved into my new home and started redecorating from scratch with new furniture and the whole nine yards. I came across this rug and fell in love immediately so I ordered it. I waited patiently for the delivery date and nothing....the following day I waited again and then called Amazon only to hear that it was returned and no one seemed to know why. The Amazon representative went ahead and re-ordered it and the same thing happened again and still didn’t get a valid reason for the return and was told to try and order something different 🤔....I even wanted to get one fory sister...I'm still so disappointed because it would have added a whole lot to my decor....sigh

Love the carpet!! The reviews are all right. This was beautiful, so very soft and plush, and good quality, especially for the price. The strokes are more of a brownish gray but the rug is cream color. It did have a little new carpet smell when we first got it. Especially since it was sitting out on our front porch in the hot sun most of the day. So when I rolled it out, it was a little moist feeling and stinky. I immediately sprayed with a little Febreeze, turned on the fan and let it sit with nothing on it for about an hour. I had to use weights to hold down the edges too. After an hour I vacuumed and it was good to go. Looks amazing!! This rug is perfect. Purchased the 8x10

It's alright. The swirly pattern is a little grey-er than I wanted and it's kinda shaggy. I guess you get what you pay for but I wish I had spent the extra money for a nicer rug. It's not bad so I'm not gonna send it back. It's just alright.
