Excuse my mess beside my lamp. This is the cutest, most adorable, simple, and just the touch of pink I wanted. The installation was a breeze. Took me maybe 20 mins bc I am not great with all that 😂. Thing I loved most is when I put the shade on, it actually just snapped in. I have ordered some before on here. It has the metal things. That isn’t a deal breaker. I was leery opening this little box. I chose the white shade which illuminates the small room well. Simple, pretty sturdy. I suppose I expected it to be taller, I didn’t look at the dimensions during purchase. Assembly required.

If you're smart, you know in colder climates there is no such thing as waste heat from incandescent light bulbs (it heats the home, reducing burden on furnace), and you stocked up on 100W light bulbs before they were banned in the land of the free. Well, if so, look elsewhere. The label on the lamp (but not Amazon description) says max 60W, and I doubt that it could even handle that given the plastic and not ceramic bulb base. However, this is a masterpiece of design in other ways. Very compact box, velcro lamp shade, very thin verticle tube to hold the cord. It was designed to save every penny possible. They can pack a shipping container with tens or hundreds of thousands of these boxes. I wouldn't even be surprised if the lightly weighted base has depleted uranium, earning the overseas company credit with the overaeas government that got rid of such waste material, at our expense. ... show more
