I absolutely just love these frying pans and I'm so glad that I purchased them. I will tell you though that the large one does have some weight to it so if you don't have any strength in your arm use both hands. Other than that they were a wonder to cook in especially for someone like me who likes all their meats cooked extra well done, sometimes almost burnt. I just added a little water & soap to the pan when I was done burning the bottom black & brought it to a quick boil & then left it in the sink to soak for awhile & when I went to wash it I didn't even need to use any strength to scrub it the black burnt on hotdog grease came right out. So as you can see I definitely recommend this pans to anyone & everyone out there... They're the greatest stainless steel frying pans that I've owned or cooked with in a long time. ... show more

Gave this nonstick pan a "whirl" bc of positive comments, and competitive price. The price appears commeasurate bc its less "hefty" than I expected; the pan is a SS + aluminum combo, I believe, including a nice 1/4" thick bottom portion, of smaller diameter. And the pan itself (not bottom portion) is also thinner than I wanted, hence the lighter weight, and "accurate" price. Have used it for a few weeks, and so far, all is good. I noticed that it performs best at medium to low heat, not at high, as some reviews noted, else the contents have a greater propensity to stick. Time will tell if the nonstick property is long-lasting (3+ yrs?); I hope so. (Other nonsticks I owned lasted 3-5 years, with 3x week use. One very well-known (& overpriced) brand lasted for 2 yrs, so obviously I haven't bought that brand again.) Since I'm not a "chef" (ie, using open-flame heat source), I don't need the longer handle, and it takes additional space in the cabinet. (anyway, long handle is wasted bc nonstick property won't perform well at high heat that open-flame produces) ... show more

A great set! I didn't expect the quality to be as high as it turned out to be considering the very reasonable price. The largest pan is much larger than the standard size one can usually find... Some might find it a little harder to handle due to weight, but I love finally having a pan that can fit, for example, a two hungry people's worth of sauteed veggies without having to worry about spilling stuff while stirring in all the ingredients. They heat evenly and cleanup is a breeze. (Tip: pour some hot water in the dirty pan while it's still hot, leave it to cool off on the hot burner, and any burned bits fall right off. Yeah, I'm not a greatest cook.) The handles may get a little hot if you're sensitive to heat - I don't have a problem with them, but my partner has to use pot holders. ... show more

I tried the 8" pan first and my husband and I liked it so well I purchased this set of three. The quality is very good, the pans are really easy to clean and the height of the sides is just right. Everything we've cooked in them turns out exactly as it should. The 12" pan is heavy so the added handle grip is perfect. You can't beat the quality or pricing. I have ( had!) the rather expensive Scan pans but they didn't last long. The nonstick coating on them degraded after a year or so. I hope these last longer! Very happy with my purchase. ... show more

I bought the 2-pack set of these frying pans during Prime Days. I deeply regret not buying the 3-pack that included the larger pan. I love searing my meats and frequently cook outside on my Blackstone. Winter is coming and I need an inside option. I always feared stainless pans after reading horror stories of how everything sticks. I heat my pan first and add ghee, meats sear beautifully. I even figured out how to make pan gravy that is so good my friends want to drink it as cocktails. Clean your pans with BarKeepers Friend and a steel safe scrub sponge. Wallah, I feel like some kind of fancy chef now. ... show more

After much use, I would definitely re-purchase these pans if I needed to. But, since they are performing well and are built to last, I dont expect to need a replacement for years.
