Runs small, I wear a Women’s size 22 top but I went with a 4x luckily I was right to go larger. It fits with a little room to spare. Very warm and cozy but feels almost lightweight. Puffy outside is soft and fluffy not squeaky or hard plastic like. Hood is not detachable but it does not stick out too much and fits head without falling over my eyes. Love the longer thumb holes sleeves! Perfect shorter length for easier movement if driving and getting in and out of car. Good price and worthwhile purchase.

One of the best purchases I have ever made, I have zero complaints or regrets. The quality is amazing, specially considering I got it on a US$ 22 lightning deal! TBH, I was searching for a warm, basic, hooded winter jacket that also was affordable for really long. I'm a student with occasional jobs so I couldn't afford a Columbia or North Face jacket, and where I live we don't have winter appropriate clothing beside those brands, and shops will charge around US$ 250 for jackets that aren't remotely warm!!! So I studied carefully all reviews here and was convinced since people used it successfully on snow or really low temperature winters (which I don't have where I live). After a month and a half of non stop use in one of the coldest autumns and start of the winter (south hemisphere) I have ever lived I can confirm it's in fact very warm and comfy. I'm 5'4, 140 lbs with really wide hips so I purchased the L size just in case, since I wanted to have room for extra sweaters and didn't wanted it to be tight on my hips. I believe even a size M would have fitted right but I wanted to be extra sure. I have a short torso so it's long to cover my glutes. Both side pockets are big, fleeced and zipped. Has an extra inside pocket, bigger and also fleeced. All zippers are great quality, principal one goes up to the chin and has a little fabric protection so it doesn't traps the skin. The hood is fleeced, roomy and longer over the forehead. The little gloves included on the sleeves are such a great addition, they're made from a microfiber non elastic fabric. The sleeves don't allow any cold air to enter. Feels lightweight while on, but heavy when carried on the arms. Ultra recommended!!!

I am so satisfied with this purhase. I needed a light but warm coat. I use my bike as transportation all year round and this allows for movement of my arms, unlike my old stiff coat. I love that it snaps up high on the neck. The hood isn't huge like most coats. It is warm and there is enough room to wear a hat under it as well on really cold days. The same with the coat. I can put bulky layers underneathe and it's comfortable. The fleece lining is an added bonus. I don't use the thumb holes in the sleeves because the first time I tried to brake on my bike I sprained my thumb-lol. You can wear them under gloves. The sleeves are tight around the wrists whether you use them or not. No air sneaks in.The coat is a little longer in the back, but doesn't cover the butt.

I'm going to Alaska for a month, so I needed a warm jacket. This one fits great! My only complaint is that there's no pocket on the inside of the jacket. That would have taken this item to the next level. Despite not having an inside pocket, the outside pockets have zippers, and I appreciate this aspect so my personal items won't fall out. I like the oversized hood because it means I'm covered whether I have an umbrella or not. I really didn't anticipate this jacket being so heavy, so I'm not sure how easy it will be to get through the airport security. It's a bit bulky, so sitting in coach on a flight might be uncomfortable. Because of the size, I'm thinking about packing this jacket because it's too big to fit in my carryon backpack. Overall, the fit is comfortable. I would say the fit is true to size because it didn't feel too big nor did it feel too small. For the price and fast shipping, I won't complain about the bulkiness. In fact, I'll probably appreciate it when I get to colder weather. The quality exceeds my expectations given the affordable price!

Love this coat! I’ve had it for almost two years now and it’s held up beautifully. I wear it on the coldest days and it keeps me toasty. Last night, the wind chill was -8. I wore it when my husband and I went on errands, including sitting in the cold car while he ran inside for a few minutes and while eating a sandwich in the cold car. It kept me warm the whole time, even without a scarf (although I do wear a scarf with it if I’ll be walking/standing outside for longer). My husband with his much more expensive, outdoor brand-name coat was shivering (yes, I’ve offered to get the male version of this coat for him, as I did for my brothers, for the coldest days; he’s stubborn about not wanting too many things). There is plenty of room in the upper arms, so you don’t feel constricted. It is very puffy and cozy! 10/10 would get again, even though the price has gone up since I got it, before the tariffs. I do have a less warm coat that I wear when it’s not as cold out, but this coat is perfect if you’ll be outdoors for a bit on a regular winter day and for car and errand wear on these below zero days. It is very thick and feels soooo cozy! It’s like a warm hug on a 🥶 day.

Worth every penny. HIGHLY RECOMMEND! Zipper on my Colombia jacket of 10 yrs. Finally died. This was way cheaper. It performs the same! Super warm & soft! Fleece lining is a huge plus. Hood is not removable which is fine. Had a storm in Maine and cleaned and shoveled for 45 minutes in 17-23 degrees with flurries and I was not even a bit chilly. The coat isn’t light and has some weight to it. If you’re in Alaska I don’t know if this works. It certainly does in Maine. Going to buy more colors and constantly look for price drops. I found the short version by Amazon for 15.00!!! Overstock price and I don’t care if it’s orange terracotta. Can walk outside with it for passing car visibility. I’m a regular 3X but ordered up to a 4X to fit over winter clothing. I wore a thick hoodie this am and the jacket fit perfectly. Loose not tight at all. Pockets are phenomenal. There is a pocket inside on the left w. Velcro closure. My iPhone fits whole. The outside pockets have a zipper closure which rocks. Pocket size is just right not shallow at all. The arms are a bit longer on me but I don’t care. I am 5’3. They have hand warming sleeves! You can just not wear them if not desired.

I bought this heavy weight puffer in June 2024 at an unbelievable low price. Honestly, I wasn’t sure I’d like it but the price was so low I figured I could just donate it if it didn’t work out. It’s now January 2025, and I’m wearing it every day. I got the burgundy color in XXL so I had enough room to wear over my bulky sweaters and layers. I love everything about it! It’s very well made with quality materials. I love that the pockets zip, and I love the “gloves” on the sleeves. It has a really soft fleecy lining, a big hood to wear over my pompom beanies, and it zips and snaps in front. This jacket is kind of heavy but still very comfortable for driving etc. and it keeps me nice and warm. Would definitely buy again! Amazon Essentials is high quality and never fails me.

When I first got this coat, I absolutely loved it, despite it being a bit larger than expected. For reference, I am 5'8 and 137 lbs, and I got the small (Amazon recommended a Small-Med based on my measurements). It still looked pretty good, I think an XS would have been more flattering, although I would not want the sleeves to be much shorter, so without the sleeve measurements it's hard to say for sure. The coat is lightweight, comfortable, very warm, and cute. I was very satisfied. One of the reasons I got this coat is because it is advertised as machine washable, and I really wanted a white puffy coat. I am now two months into owning the coat, so I washed it to clean up the makeup that had rubbed off around the hood after using it regularly. I could find no detailed washing/care instructions on the coat itself, and the only thing I could find on the website just says "machine wash," so I washed the coat on the delicate cycle with cool water, and I used the lowest dryer setting possible. In the process, one of the snaps tore, and the filling is now clumpy, making the coat look ridiculous when I wear it. I am not sure if it is the washing or the light drying that ruined the coat, but without detailed instructions, I chose what I thought was the safest route. I thought drying it on low would help to fluff it up and keep the filling from settling into an uneven distribution, which it clearly did not, although it's hard to say if it helped or hurt things. I LOVED this coat and am heartbroken that it is now ruined. I used the coat so often that I have thought of getting a new one and not washing it, but I do not know if that would be practical with the white coat. I may try a different color. Bottom line - Amazon should NOT list this coat as machine washable, or they should give very specific instructions on how exactly one can wash it without ruining it.
