I am surprised that Amazon Basics made a stretch weave belt. I couldn't pass up the chance. This will be my 2nd stretch weave belt. However, my first one was made by another manufacturer. I had such a positive experience with that stretch weave belt, I wanted to try Amazon's version to compare. The weave in AMZ's belt is smaller/finer than I expected. The good news is that I will always find a notch that fits and feels comfortable for any moment because it is a weave belt. It allows for maximum customization and flexibility for the belt notch. I made the mistake of following the "2-inch above your waist size" suggestion provided in the product description. I think there is too much excess unless you anticipate your waist growing. I suggest "1.5 inch above your waist size at most". I am not a fan of too much belt excess but it really is a personal preference. I'm not sure how it will hold up over time. But I am off to a very good start and happy!

This might be the perfect belt. This braided leather number is surprisingly well-thought-out - it's basically solved two annoying belt problems at once. Thanks to the woven design, you can fasten it literally anywhere, and there's an elastic core that gives it just the right amount of stretch. What really impresses me is how secure it feels while still being comfortable. No more of that too-tight-after-lunch feeling, but also no worrying about your pants slowly sliding down throughout the day. The leather quality is quite nice too, especially for the price point. Only thing to note - definitely follow their sizing advice and order 2 inches up from your pant size. Other than that, this belt is pretty much perfect for everyday wear. I wear a 34, I ordered a 36, and there's barely room to spare.

If this belt holds up it deserves 5 stars. I will not know until I have used it for a long while. Nice looking, woven and a strong dark brown color. Its primary ingredient is polyester but it is covered with buffalo hide and has a secret ingredient called "elastodiene" which appears to provide for strength and stretch...yep....it stretches quite well. If I get another I will drop down several sizes. You put it on like a regular belt but when it comes to inserting the "metal tongue" where you would expect holes there are none. Instead you press the tongue into the polyester strap and push gently and it goes right in. I wonder how long it will hold up but I will experiment. Unique design, dressy. If it lasts for a good while....definiely five stars.

I like that this belt is stretchy and will get bigger if I gain weight, but also doesn't look too big when I lose weight again. I have a few other belts, and they fit fine but don't stretch. Also, they only fit fine when I weigh what I weighed when I purchased them, and my weight has been up and down quite a bit these past few years. It's nice to know that this belt will stick with me through all my weight ups and downs.

I've worn various brands of stretch weave belts for several years and have mostly found them to be a wecome addition to my casual attire. My khaki-colored belts are getting worn and in need of replacement. I ordered this belt as a replacement. PROS: - high-quality buckle and leather piece holding it. - genuine leather stamped on the inside, feels like it is so - stitching looks to be strong and well-sewn (other belts have not been so) CONS: - I ordered "tan" color, belt is much darker than expected, almost brown . color on website described as "tan" . accompanying photo shows much lighter color than it actually is

This is a very comfortable belt. I love the design. It looks great on. You can adjust it to any width. It gives just a bit when you move, so it is very comfortable. It is made of real leather and smells great. Good purchase.

The media could not be loaded. My biggest concern was, "will this belt handle my girth?"! I ordered, as they recommend, a size 2" longer than my waist measurement. I was not disappointed. The belt came with plenty of length. Furthermore, this belt stretches, so you'd really have to under-sie it for it to not fit. See the short video. One concern that creates for me is will it hold up my pants? That too was no disappointment. The nicest thing is that as you move around sit, stand or bend over, this belt does not cut into your stomach (or wherever you hold your belts) as other fix length belts. Finally, my brown version has a nice brushed nickel finish which gave it a classy look (if you consider a woven belt classy). Now it is not inexpensive but I believe worth.
