I love these glasses. They are elegant and even though they are traditionally white wine glasses I use them for all wines. Okay, I'm not obsessed with a glass for every type of wine. I don't have the room and these suit me perfectly with a perfect bowl for swirling to aerate.

These wine glasses can handle dishwashers and normal use with ease. The design is basic but functional. The price is good. The shape isn’t detrimental to the taste of the wine. For an entry level wine glass set, I’m happy to recommend this. It’s not a Riedel, but it’s not trying to be.

i don’t know much about what makes a decent wine glass, but i know that i live in a college apartment with three men and so far there is not a single crack on any of these glasses. i’ve had them for a couple months. we’ve washed them in the dishwasher multiple times on high heat- in an area with VERY hard water, if that matters- and again, nothing. they’re super clear, too. i can’t speak as an expert, but these are great for a beginner. ... show more

We were getting tired of using plastic cups for parties so we decided to spring for durable party glasses. We ordered five sets of these glasses. They are a nice size and multi-purpose so we can use them for red or white wine. They are touted as durable and dishwasher safe so the lip is a bit thicker and the glasses a decent weight. Had to get two sets replaced since the lips of the glasses were defective. Replacement was quick and easy. We just used them for a 4th of July BBQ and not one was broken. We did not put them in the dishwasher so we can't attest to that quality. Hand washing was quick and easy though. The glasses come in sturdy boxes.
